bincitysioux Posted February 27, 2015 Posted February 27, 2015 Ladies are trailing NAU by 4 with 2:23 left..... Quote
dmksioux Posted February 27, 2015 Posted February 27, 2015 Great comeback. Tied with 43 seconds to go. NAU has the ball. Quote
dmksioux Posted February 27, 2015 Posted February 27, 2015 UND should be able to get the last shot. Quote
dmksioux Posted February 27, 2015 Posted February 27, 2015 Dang..two shots to win at the buzzer. Going to OT Quote
SWSiouxMN Posted February 27, 2015 Author Posted February 27, 2015 I swear Evers cannot set a screen without getting called. Come on refs.... weak Quote
dmksioux Posted February 27, 2015 Posted February 27, 2015 Some questionable reffing in this game as well. Quote
dmksioux Posted February 27, 2015 Posted February 27, 2015 2.17 seconds :-) Edit: switched to 3 now Quote
dmksioux Posted February 27, 2015 Posted February 27, 2015 Would be nice to pull this one out considering they trailed the majority of the game. Gonna be tough with Evers fouled out. Quote
Cratter Posted February 27, 2015 Posted February 27, 2015 And the women lose another game to a lesser team. FireBrewster? Quote
dmksioux Posted February 27, 2015 Posted February 27, 2015 It's unfortunate that the reffing is ao bad in the Big Sky. Questionable call against szabla for her 5th foul when it appeared NAU had turned the ball over. Quote
Kab Posted February 27, 2015 Posted February 27, 2015 24 ormore turnovers that the refs didn't cause Quote
obborg Posted February 27, 2015 Posted February 27, 2015 Never heard the home team announcers acknowledge bad calls against the visitors as much as i did tonight. When that happens you KNOW it's bad. But give NAU some credit, they were ready for our aggressive drives to the basket and took quite a few charges. Quote
nodakhoops Posted February 27, 2015 Posted February 27, 2015 And the women lose another game to a lesser team. FireBrewster? Where's Darrell when you need him? Joking as I don't think Brew should be fired, but I do feel this team has really dropped the ball in conference play. I thought the ladies looked like they didn't miss a beat from last year in the non conference this year but for whatever reason they have struggled in conference. Quote
dmksioux Posted February 27, 2015 Posted February 27, 2015 Yes, we had too many turnovers, agree. But there were 2 moving screen calls against Evers, including her 5th foul that the announcers also didn't think we're fouls. The 5th foul on Evers and Szabla were questionable at best and they came in OT and double OT respectively. Hate to see the refs make those calls and not let the teams determine the game. The offensive foul on Lloyd (?) after the offensive rebound at the end of the game (10 seconds or so left) was a foul and the right call. The other 2, not so much. Quote
obborg Posted February 27, 2015 Posted February 27, 2015 The worst call of the game was when Banks lowered the shoulder and ran through Loyd, who was perfectly set. One of the worst ghost calls i have seen this season. Quote

One of the worst ghost calls i have seen this season. Yet Dyer got called for the charge doing the exact same thing on the final possession of the game. Pitiful. Quote
Teeder11 Posted February 27, 2015 Posted February 27, 2015 I hate sounding this way... but that officiating crew that was at NAU was also up here for our game against Sac State. I know officiating is a tough job... but it just seemed like this crew has it out of Brew. To his credit, he walked by me after the Sac State game and we had a brief chat about it: Basically, I said "It's tough when you got to beat the Stripes, too, in addition to the other team." I won't repeat what he said, but suffice it to say, he didn't bite on the excuse that I laid out there for him. Quote
UND92,96 Posted March 1, 2015 Posted March 1, 2015 I'm not sure what Brew is doing with the starting lineups lately. At NAU, Roscoe started instead of Evers. Tonight, Szabla isn't starting. Quote
