Oxbow6 Posted March 24, 2014 Posted March 24, 2014 44-28 Could not have had a worse 5 minutes to start 2nd half for UND. Quote
SiouxFan100 Posted March 24, 2014 Posted March 24, 2014 A&M is good. I hope we can settle down. Quote
darell1976 Posted March 24, 2014 Posted March 24, 2014 For a guy in his second year of coaching he can use this experience and make UND even better. Quote
fightingsioux4life Posted March 24, 2014 Posted March 24, 2014 Well, it was fun while it lasted. We hung around in the first half with some players left over from the transition period, which isn't too bad. If we can have more success in the Big Sky, we'll get better players and the next time we get into this tournament, we might hang around for the whole game (and maybe even pull off a first-round upset). The future looks bright for the WBB team. Quote
Oxbow6 Posted March 24, 2014 Posted March 24, 2014 UND has to have at least 8 TOs in the 1st 10 minutes of the half. 6 in whole 1st half. Quote
fightingsioux4life Posted March 24, 2014 Posted March 24, 2014 Oh, for crying out loud! How many lay-ups are we going to miss? If we would have hit even half of our missed lay-ups, we'd be down 10 instead of 20 points. Quote
darell1976 Posted March 24, 2014 Posted March 24, 2014 USD lost to Stanford, so after this game (barring a comeback for the ages) all the Dakota teams in a Dance will be done. It was a great year for the Dakotas in basketball. Quote
Wilbur Posted March 24, 2014 Posted March 24, 2014 Nice job ladies. Played them tough for the first half, but then of course the deeper team takes control of the game. I'll be hated for this, but I'm not going to enjoy maybe winning the conference tournament only to get killed in the tournament every time they make it. Take no credit away from these ladies. Great great job! Quote
geaux_sioux Posted March 24, 2014 Posted March 24, 2014 Our ginger pg needs to not be so obvious where she's going with the ball. Quote
darell1976 Posted March 24, 2014 Posted March 24, 2014 ESPN said UND went 15-1 in the BSC. Close we went 15-5. And as for this being our 6th year in DI it's our second year of being playoff eligible. Quote

Great great job! It's a definite trade-off. But how many people would still care about our teams if we had stayed in Division 2 and joined the NSIC? If you think we are invisible compared to FU now, that would have been 10 times worse. And SDSU has proved over the years that mid-major schools like us can win games in the D-I Women's Tournament, not just keep it close for one half. Remember, we will get better players and better athletes from here on out as a full-fledged Division I program in the Big Sky Conference. The best is yet to come. Quote

fightingsioux4life Posted March 24, 2014 Posted March 24, 2014 65-53 1:40 left in 2nd half. All I can think about now is all those missed lay-ups earlier in the game. Argh! Quote
