squirtcoach
One could argue that fact; it is the T-Wolves
geaux_sioux
Anyone know if seats will actually come up to the boards like they should or will they keep it fugly like the pictures?
runaroundsioux
Prettty sure it's computer simulated? Seats look pretty flat. Don't think you want to be in the lower bowl corners.
choyt3
It's because they had a large enough gap now between Timberwolves games. They'll build up the ice a little more then the final thickness, then cover it with insulation sheets. And then put the basketball court back together on top of that. sprig
Looks better than hockey in a baseball stadium.
BobIwabuchiFan
We'll be playing second fiddle for a long while until they wise up and let us do the Frozen Five at rotating home rinks in the NCHC or we can get into St. Paul Xcel when Michigan demands the Big 10 tournament is rotated out of MSP... That is where I was pressured to buy my seats, right in that little pie shape section! All fired up about that decision again! They made it sound like all the seats were taken on the lower bowl. I was hook, line, and sinker on that bs!

The Big Ten tourney is rotating between St Paul and Detroit.
jdub27
Some pictures of what it looks like when set up. Link. And exactly what choyt3 said, they had a 4 day period right now to be able to put the ice in and let it set, it was their best opportunity over the next couple months to get it in properly before the tournament. Think it looks a long way to the ice with the gaps in the corner. If you're higher up it may be fine. Who knows? Pictures can be deceiving. How long can the WCHA hold the X with low attendance? I miss St. Paul already.
smokey the cat
Anyone know if seats will actually come up to the boards like they should or will they keep it fugly like the pictures? Looking at the seating chart on the ticket site it would look like what you see here is it.

I wen to a Gophers-Badgers hockey game at the Target Center a few years ago, and I'm pretty sure they had temporary seating in the corners. They just may not have them in yet because they would interfer for basketball somehow.
