Did I hear Jameer Jackson is leaving UND to drop down and play for a Div II or III school? What is going on there? He's pretty legit if my memory serves me right. Surprised a guy who saw the field a lot and saw the ball a lot would want to drop down.

Yes. He is going to DII school closer to home. Actually, not much closer to home than North Dakota is.............

he went from having a break out, all American type performance last year to an unproductive(compared to last year) season this season. some of these kids get famous quick and don't know how to handle it. then have a year like this year. I would guess he wants to play next year vs sit out a year if he goes to D1, or FCS. might be a stepping stone for him. he is quite talented.

Not quite sure I get your stepping stone comment? He only has two years of eligibility left, Mankato will be his last stop.

In regards to distance from home, Mankato is 220 miles and roughly 3 hours closer than Grand Forks is from Brooklyn Park. Not a huge distance but plausible enough to use as one of his reasons.

Adams quit mid season. After blowing out his knee multiple times I hear he finally gave it up. Not sure about the Mossman rumor, was talking to a few older alum and that was something being thrown around
