The remaining home games will draw fan interest based on the quality of the programs. The atmosphere has dwindled at the Alerus the past few seasons. However, we also have a lot of returning talent and I think if we get out to a 2-1 start (3-0 maybe) it could really jumpstart the enthusiasm with the team this season. Buy- The coordinators have caught some initial criticism because they are young and inexperienced, but I have a feeling that these young coaches are the sort of revival this program needs. They are smart and energetic and I feel that we have been lacking this. Obviously time will tell and this season is huge, but I guess my glass is half full. If our run defense isn't 10x better than last year they'll have 400 on the ground. I don't think they'll be able to handle our wr though. I think they would have been very heavy favorites in a hypothetical matchup last year, and I think they are borderline FCS top-5 this year. If the run D isn't much improved, it won't be a game.
