Wilbur Posted January 26, 2013 Posted January 26, 2013 That hasn't been the first time a guy has been wide open in front of the net in this game. Quote
scpa0305 Posted January 26, 2013 Posted January 26, 2013 Who has him....wide open out front, their best player! Quote
siouxforeverbaby Posted January 26, 2013 Posted January 26, 2013 The crowd has to get back in the game....they are completely out of it right now Quote
LakotaNation Posted January 26, 2013 Posted January 26, 2013 panzarella took forever to get up after he crashed into the boards which left the scsu player alone. does this team know how to play defense. Quote
beebsb010 Posted January 26, 2013 Posted January 26, 2013 This team is just painful to watch right now. Of course, the blind homers on here will have some good excuses to serve up I'm sure. Quote
yzerman19 Posted January 26, 2013 Posted January 26, 2013 ZERO puck luck. WTF...I feel like we carried the play only to be down by 2 Quote
AZSIOUX Posted January 26, 2013 Author Posted January 26, 2013 Awful period , better get the next one! Lets see what they can do! Rocco is on top line now . Go sioux !! Lets go boys!! Quote
Sioux_Yeah_Yeah Posted January 26, 2013 Posted January 26, 2013 Dear UND, I'd like a win since I barely get to watch any UND games. Thanks... Quote
Trunk Monkey Posted January 26, 2013 Posted January 26, 2013 This team is playing soft. Get Grimaldi to one of the top lines. Mitch does not belong on 1st line. Pattyn great 4th liner but not 3rd. Horrible period. Quote
Trunk Monkey Posted January 26, 2013 Posted January 26, 2013 ZERO puck luck. WTF...I feel like we carried the play only to be down by 2 Yep....it was just puck luck. Whatever....3 shots is not going to get it done. 1 Quote
Anderson2200 Posted January 26, 2013 Posted January 26, 2013 the boys are playing hard but evidently not hard enough. great to see the extra show of energy. need to make our shots count Quote
Wilbur Posted January 26, 2013 Posted January 26, 2013 SCSU is doing a great job of blocking shots and getting the puck deep. There was a play on a rush where Mitch Mac. got the puck wide and was unable to get around the defenseman. I thought.....boy, Rocco would have walked around that guy and got to the net. Next shift....Rocco is on the top line......surprise surprise. Quote
yzerman19 Posted January 26, 2013 Posted January 26, 2013 They had good puck movement this period. SCSU blocked shots and clogged the slot well. Quote
Oxbow6 Posted January 26, 2013 Posted January 26, 2013 I feel like we carried the play only to be down by 2 Not from my seat in 110. Boy are we soft!!! Quote
craw84 Posted January 26, 2013 Posted January 26, 2013 wow defense Defense indeed...looked up the stats - this is the 8th home game this year where we've given up a goal in the first 5 minutes of the game. Might be nice to not play from behind all the time, especially at home. Quote
WiSioux Posted January 26, 2013 Posted January 26, 2013 Not from my seat in 110. Boy are we soft!!! Anyone around you selling tickets for next weekend? (It can't hurt for me to ask, right?) Quote
yzerman19 Posted January 26, 2013 Posted January 26, 2013 Yep....it was just puck luck. Whatever....3 shots is not going to get it done. Puck movement and forecheck > poor quality shots UND came out moving the puck and establishing the forecheck. The first SCSU goal was a total fluke...that is the puck luck piece We did not get outplayed. We had one defensive breakdown and one fluke against. Quote
yzerman19 Posted January 26, 2013 Posted January 26, 2013 Not from my seat in 110. Boy are we soft!!! On TV we looked like we are moving the puck pretty well...better than I've seen them move the puck since Holy Cross Quote
Trunk Monkey Posted January 26, 2013 Posted January 26, 2013 Not from my seat in 110. Boy are we soft!!! Soft = bingo. Where is the fire in the gut to get something done? Quote

Horrible non-sioux like period. Quote
