geaux_sioux
I take it we have great lbs at UND to run a 3-4?? Bunch of hungry youngsters that defiantly look the part. They haven't been able to prove themselves yet.

Hambone
Who is are biggest rival ? NDSU? Depends on who you ask. I believe they are even though they haven't played for 10 years.
UND92,96
Didn't Zenner run in the 10s in the 100m in hs? He didn't run track. Played baseball. Hard to believe SDSU was his only division I offer.
sioux24/7
He didn't run track. Played baseball. Hard to believe SDSU was his only division I offer. Sounds like he was forced to play QB his senior year of HS and was a RB/WR before so he was underrecruited because he wasn't a "true" RB. iramurphy
Kostich was in talking to Detroit Lakes kids. Herzog is 5' 11" 205 lb QB, DB. Was good RB as Soph. Then switched to QB. Would likely play strong safety. Hits hard good quickness tough kid. Didn't play much db after 2nd game. Might be scholarship kid otherwise PWO. Kirby Siewert is 6' 2 " 252lb DL. Great feet good motor, smart. Prob PWO. Schmidt was in 2 weeks ago. Local coaches impressed with both new UND guys.
sioux24/7
Anyone notice how USD is now hitting Illinois hard? I saw EdgyTim tweet something about how they are killing it.
geaux_sioux
Depends on who you ask. I believe they are even though we haven't kicked their ass in 10 years. Fixed your post. Anyone who says we aren't each other's most heated rivals is in denial.

We need to stay there. Between MN WI and Chicago there are tons of really good physical players.
UND-FB-FAN
I take it we have great lbs at UND to run a 3-4?? Long line of former LB greats but that position has been lacking for the last couple seasons. Coach Bubba is already starting to improve that position though, and like Geaux_Sioux said, there are good freshmen on the roster.
UND-FB-FAN
Who is are biggest rival ? NDSU? North Dakota State is the biggest rival, but they're in a different conference so we don't play them anymore in the regular season. Hopefully that will change for this years incoming class down the road. In conference, the rivals would technically be Montana and Montana State I suppose. This new coaching staff brings a lot of enthusiasm and experience that the previous regime was missing. I've also heard it sits well with coaches and recruits. This weekend is big for the program, considering the amount of talented recruits visiting. By Sunday, there should be an impressive rate of commitments flying in! Go Sioux! Smoggy
Have been trying to get back into Nebraska at all? I have it in my head we used to grab guys from there. With only the one FBS school and now UNO not having a team it seems like it could a Wisconsin sort of pipeline.

jjensen
Anyone know anything about these guy: Levi Hoiby - QB/MLB from Stanley, ND probably a preferred walk-on Anthony Anderson - RB from Eden Praire really big, powerful back Garrett Bollant - RB/DB from Lobi, WI offensive MVP for his team probably plays DB though would need a year to get bigger too Jeloni Hudson - OL/DE from Blaine probably plays DE or redshirt and hit the weights hard to play OL Jamari Manuel - RB from Madison, WI he is a 2015 so I'm probably jumping the gun but the guy is pretty good Jason Telin - OL Oakdale, MN 6' 3" 290 strong enough but would need a year to get some of the footwork together
