108498 Posted March 15, 2012 Posted March 15, 2012 Sorry, but I smell a last second missed 3 point shot by the sioux. Drake wins by two. Quote

UND1983 Posted March 15, 2012 Posted March 15, 2012 Down by 4 with 20 secs left, they have Huff shoot a 3? The guy who shoots 19%. Quote
jdub27 Posted March 15, 2012 Posted March 15, 2012 9-17 at the line for UND, 21-27 for Drake. Free throw work in the offseason boys! Overall, good season for UND, they came on strong at the end. If they can be a little more consistent on the road next year, they could be a factor in the Big Sky! Quote
darell1976 Posted March 15, 2012 Posted March 15, 2012 Hats off to this team who stuggled on the road but won the conference championship and a postseason berth. Good bye GWC...Hello Big Sky!!! 3 Quote
richthorpe Posted March 15, 2012 Posted March 15, 2012 They covered the 14.5 point spread...That is pretty awesome...Should be a great off season! This team should be proud of the 11-12 season body of work! Go Fighting Sioux!!! Quote
sioux2013 Posted March 15, 2012 Posted March 15, 2012 Probably our best road effort this year. After the initial 5 minutes we played very solid until the last 5-6 minutes. I think Jones played his starters more than usual and they got tired. Showed by giving up 46 points in the 2nd half. We had 4 starters play 30 or more minutes and I've never seen this in our box scores before. If Mitchell had not got into foul trouble it may have been all 5 with 30+ minutes. I really think them being tired showed down the stretch. Goodbye and thanks to Mitchell and Matheson. They were a joy to watch and will be missed. On to the Big Sky. Quote
