UND men's basketball lost to Utah tech.  So you think the bottom of a division 2 conference is a better fit Give me a break.  Southern Utah use to have good basketball.  I'm not saying anyone of those two teams is my first choice but for sure not thinking augie , sioux falls and northern state should join the league. That's just stupid and will never happen

Sounds like if the Summit want's the Texas schools they will need to beat out the A-Sun.  

Would be nice if everyone could get together and parse out the remain schools. 

Southern Utah and Utah Tech to the Big Sky

Texas schools to the Summit.  You could then Have divisions in the Summit

North - Dakotas plus Denver and St. Thomas

South - Texas, ORU, Omaha and Kansas City

At some point Denver probably gets their wish and goes to WCC, maybe Summit can convince Northern Iowa to join.  Nice travel partner for St. Thomas and would get you to 7 football schools.  Loyola credits are drying up and MVC isn't what it once was in hoops, so Summit could be enticing.

To be clear, my vote is to Pass and not add schools.  What does adding SUU and Utah Tech solve for the Summit League.  They should be in the Big Sky with with N. Arizona and Weber St.  They do nothing for the Summit League.

Unfortunately doesn't matter what either one of us think.  The commissioner sounds like he has made his decision to add both Utah teams and he is paid to make those decisions.   He obviously sees the advantages of having them in the league.

What would the "advantages" be again....other then Fenton increasing his job security in the short term until a better bigger job counts around and he bolts... Again
