Blackheart
Great job! Just wondering, who is the player with the blood trickling down his nose, and what's his story? Is he a legend? Thanks! Reg Morelli...he got that after scoring the game winning goal in the '59 final against Mich St...his own player did it to him as I understand... Big A HG
Great job! Just wondering, who is the player with the blood trickling down his nose, and what's his story? Is he a legend? Thanks! That is the great Reggie Morelli who currently still resides in Minot. Reg scored the game winning goal in OT of the championship game to give UND its first NCAA Championship ever. Reggie wore #16 that year, until January that is, where he got into a scrum in Minnesota against the Gophers. His jersey got tossed into the stands, losing it for the remainder of the season. He then wore #19 the rest of the season. The missing #16 jersey was gone, and pretty much forgotten, until the Morelli's received a phone call a couple years ago from a mysterious person, who wanted to know if Reggie was still alive and if he resided at the same address still. A couple weeks later, the jersey showed up in the mail and they didn't know who or where it came from. He is a Sioux hockey legend for sure. I think the pic where you see Reggie on the shoulders of his teammates with the bridge of his nose bleeding is one of the most defining pictures in Fighting Sioux hockey history. Bob in Wisconsin
Great thanks! Yeah, now I remember the story of the missing jersey, it was either posted on here or a story in the Herald. Great story!
bigdog58701
Big you do an awesome job on those wallpapers I can not wait to see the new one for next month. The story on Morelli is great to hear too, he bowls on one of the leagues that I bowl on here in minot and is a great person.
Big A HG
Awesome. I'm trying to become a good bowler myself. I've obviously bowled before, but took my first steps into getting serious about it this fall. For a relative newbie to the bowling scene, I'll take my mid-upper 170 average. My goals for this year (which are steep, but doable) are to finish with a 185 average and to get a 700 series.

I have met Reg on a few occassions.Great guy. His son Matt, who also played for the Sioux, and I coached a AAA hockey team in the summer for 2 years. Reg has some great stories about the days gone by and he still has some pull with the university. He got me 4 Sioux/Gopher tix for the Jan.15 game. Oh and I too am looking forward to the January Sioux wallpaper. You do an awesome job on them.Thanks.

siouxforce19
It's unfortunate my old computer went to hell. The calendar would have looked nice. haha. I actually have a mac now since that was the spare computer in my family, so the dimensions won't work as well. But all is good, because I still got good ol Corban on my background representing for the month of January. Looks nice.

But all is good, because I still got good ol Corban on my background representing for the month of January. Looks nice. What are your dimensions? What's funny is the Widescreen version still isn't wide enough for my own computer. Sometimes I make a quick one up that fits my needs, sometimes I don't. This month I just made sure my background was black and did the regular widescreen one and it works decent for what it is. Maybe next month I'll make a wider widescreen. Anyone else having sizing issues?

thecircus
I'm gonna be a day or two late with this one. Had a super busy weekend. My apologies. Can't wait! I had a fun January with my co-workers. February should be even better since we play the Clowns 2/18 & 2/19. BTW - Anyone coming down to St. Cloud for that series? It is usually a pretty fun one. Great downtown establishments.
