Oxbow6 Posted March 21, 2010 Posted March 21, 2010 West 1. Wisconsin vs. 4. Vermont 2. St. Cloud vs. 3. N. Michigan Midwest 1. Miami vs. 4. Ala.-Huntsville 2. Bemidji St., 3. Michigan East 1. Denver vs. 4. RIT 2. Cornell, 3. New Hampshire Northeast 1. Boston College vs. 4. Alaska 2. North Dakota, 3. Yale WI is golden in that region. Miami gets a slight edge, but the winner of Mich/BSU could give Miami fits. When you lose 2 straight going into the NCAA, you have issues. Cornell will give DU a run especially if they get a lead. I just think UND is on to big of a roll to be denied. We have better team speed in year's past to match up with BC. Quote
SteveP Posted March 21, 2010 Posted March 21, 2010 How is it we got Yale & not Michigan? They swapped Yale and Michigan to improve attendance. Quote
yzerman19 Posted March 21, 2010 Posted March 21, 2010 They swapped Yale and Michigan to improve attendance. Definitely that, but also to prevent Red from having a coronary. Quote

SteveP Posted March 21, 2010 Posted March 21, 2010 Definitely that, but also to prevent Red from having a coronary. That is also true. Quote
txsioux Posted March 21, 2010 Posted March 21, 2010 it would be fun to play Bemidji in the Frozen Four though! Quote
82SiouxGuy Posted March 21, 2010 Posted March 21, 2010 So to see UND live Sat., we watch via the 'net??? Usually someone like Fox Sports North will pick up these games and show them live. That's where the ESPN Syndication part comes in. Quote

sagard Posted March 21, 2010 Posted March 21, 2010 I just think UND is on to big of a roll to be denied. We have better team speed in year's past to match up with BC. Gerbe isn't going to show up either. Quote
SxySamurai Posted March 21, 2010 Posted March 21, 2010 If we can get past Yale, I think it's time that the Sioux pay back BC for all those heart breaks over the last few years. With that said, what is this Yale team all about? Quote

Would a "request" campaign help (perhaps mid-week if no one has committed to pick it up), or is it pretty much a sure thing? Quote
Sioux-per Villain Posted March 21, 2010 Posted March 21, 2010 All of Yale's top scorers are little guys (5'8" - 5'9"). We need to lay some big hits and slow them down early and often. Probably the same type of game we will see against BC if we advance. Quote
YaneA Posted March 21, 2010 Posted March 21, 2010 Al's Bus here. Looking for a line on hotels in Detroit near Ford Field. Anyone have insight? Quote
yzerman19 Posted March 21, 2010 Posted March 21, 2010 I know that they lost the Ivy League POTY to injury not long ago, so they are down a top player. I'm not sure where they finished in the ECAC tourney... Quote
7>4 Posted March 21, 2010 Posted March 21, 2010 If we can get past Yale, I think it's time that the Sioux pay back BC for all those heart breaks over the last few years. With that said, what is this Yale team all about? They won their conference (regular season) and tied Wisconsin and badly outshot them in a game in January so they are no slouch. At this time of year, you either show up to play the full 60 minutes or you go home. They lost to Brown in a three game series and did not advance to the conference tournament won by Cornell. Quote
