Sioux_Hab-it Posted May 6, 2009 Posted May 6, 2009 Thanks for the link. I hope it works for the duration. Quote
Sioux_Hab-it Posted May 6, 2009 Posted May 6, 2009 If not channelsurfing.net has it as well. Thanks, I had to go to this link as the other was USA only. Getting a nice clear picture but unforutnately most of the play has been in the US zone. Quote
stickboy1956 Posted May 6, 2009 Posted May 6, 2009 Funny how things work out. About 4 years ago, Matt Niskenen and TJ Oshie were playing in the Class A Minn State Hockey Tournament - not the NTDP or USHL. Today they are wearing the USA at the WC. Funny how things work out. PS - Mr. Hockey from that year is not playing in the WC. Quote
Tsiouxnami Posted May 6, 2009 Posted May 6, 2009 TJ Oshie just scored to give the US a 2-1 lead. Quote
sprig Posted May 6, 2009 Posted May 6, 2009 TJ Oshie just scored to give the US a 2-1 lead. That was Timothy Oshie Quote
Tsiouxnami Posted May 6, 2009 Posted May 6, 2009 And, the US takes a 3-1 lead on a Ryan Suter goal. . . . that makes 3 US goals in under 4 minutes. Quote
Sioux_Hab-it Posted May 6, 2009 Posted May 6, 2009 And, the US takes a 3-1 lead on a Ryan Suter goal. . . . that makes 3 US goals in under 4 minutes. The Finns are losing their composure. Keep the pedal to the metal. Quote
Tsiouxnami Posted May 6, 2009 Posted May 6, 2009 Finland scores to make it 2-3 US. (Oh, oh. . . don't let them back in it, as Finland dominated play early). Quote
morley Posted May 6, 2009 Posted May 6, 2009 Finns second goal should not have counted. In international hockey play the whistle should have blown soon as the puck hits the goalie in the helmet. Quote

jimdahl Posted May 8, 2009 Posted May 8, 2009 the quarterfinals start today. the u.s. plays at 1:15pm central time. you can watch the game here: http://universalsports.com/ once you've followed the link above, click "watch now" at the top of the page next to "hockey live now!" I accidentally just noticed that this network is available on my cable. It's called UNVSP and is currently replaying the Canada game. A quick check on their website reveals that it's not available on any of Midco, DirecTV, or Dish, so probably no good for Grand Forksians; but, people in other areas (particularly who share my cable provider, Comcast) may want to double check. bracket Coverage doesn't look live (10et and 2et), but is instead delayed until 6pm and 9pm (ET).
