yzerman19 Posted March 29, 2008 Posted March 29, 2008 I support the team from the town I grew up in, and despise my alma matter, which also happens to be their biggest rival. Is there a different address for that SopCast to get the DU/WI game? Quote
franchise Posted March 29, 2008 Posted March 29, 2008 I apologize if someone has already asked, but is there anywhere to watch/listen to wisco/DU? At the Kohl Center Quote
MafiaMan Posted March 29, 2008 Posted March 29, 2008 Yeah, there aren't a whole lot of rules for fandom, but actively cheering for the most hated rival of the school you chose to go to is a big no-no. I don't care where you went to high school. What you did and who you cheered for in the first 18 years of your life is more an accident of birth and geography. You choose your university/college. You better damn well better support it. Some Gopher friends of mine asked me what I would do if my son were to skate for the Minnesota Gophers someday. I told them I would be in Mariucci Arena standing proud while watching him be called out for pre-game introductions...then I'd boo his a** off like I do the rest of the Gophers. Quote

I haven't been able to find anything, only live stats posted earlier. WIBA broadcasts the games out of Madison, but they don't have a "listen live" link. Quote

Bob in Wisconsin Posted March 29, 2008 Posted March 29, 2008 Holy Christ, for the hell of it, I tried tuning in AM 1310 out of Madison (2 hours away), and I'm able to pick it up! After 1, 1-0 UW Quote
sprig Posted March 29, 2008 Posted March 29, 2008 Serratorre and AF got their fill of little Shep in OT; put them in the pbox but refused to make a call on Miami; what a total crap job of officiating. Quote
farce poobah Posted March 29, 2008 Posted March 29, 2008 4 minutes in and Clarkson is 2 goals better than the Sioux were last year in the opener vs Michigan. 0-0 Quote

redwing77 Posted March 29, 2008 Posted March 29, 2008 Well, Air Force gave Miami its money's worth...well.. Volkening did anyways. AFA is CLEARLY a one trick pony. Volkening was amazing. Zatkoff was great too, but Miami dominated later in the game because AFA has ZERO stick handling ability. They play the winner of the BC/Minny game right? I'd say this: Miami's season ends tomorrow regardless. They got REALLY LUCKY today. Still, it is the second game in which I predicted the correct outcome. Does UW winning work to our advantage? Quote
Tsiouxnami Posted March 29, 2008 Posted March 29, 2008 Michigan-Clarkson underway. . . 0-0 13 minutes left in the 1st. Clarkson on the PP. Quote

I was watching that game and wondering who the ref was that was letting all of those obstruction call go. Wouldn't you know it Shepturd. Frank S. had a lot of room to be upset. It is a joke that the WCHA officials get to ref in the NCAA tourney but at least the rest of the NCAA hockey gets to see how bad it really is... Quote
Goon Posted March 29, 2008 Posted March 29, 2008 Does UW winning work to our advantage? I am not sure since the experts said we can't get past DU, I guess they never looked at the UND and Wisconsin game... Quote
MafiaMan Posted March 29, 2008 Posted March 29, 2008 That is AWESOME!! Nice post Thanks. That's a true story, too. The funniest part about it was the look on my friends' faces after saying it. I'm pretty sure one of them responded with "seriously???". Quote
Tsiouxnami Posted March 29, 2008 Posted March 29, 2008 7 1/2 minutes to go in the first. . . Michigan and Clarkson still 0-0. Quote
Tsiouxnami Posted March 29, 2008 Posted March 29, 2008 Kolarik with a nice dive right in front of the net. . . . .Clarkson player goes for 2:00. Kolarik SHOULD go for the dive, as he was barely touched. Robbie Earl, is that you? Quote
Bob in Wisconsin Posted March 29, 2008 Posted March 29, 2008 UW/DEN 2nd Period underway, still 1-0 . DEN on PP @ 2:15 of 2nd Quote
