mikeypat15
One good thing about Chay, he was suppose to be out the season early this year, and he came back in two weeks.
gopherz
One good thing about Chay, he was suppose to be out the season early this year, and he came back in two weeks. No more slapping goals in out of midair while in midair for Trupp maybe, haha
redwing77
No more slapping goals in out of midair while in midair for Trupp maybe, haha What are you trying to say here? They showed pictures of Chay and Evan today on TV. Both had bandages wrapped much like casts on. Evan's leg was elevated and placed on a chair and he had crutches. I'm inclined to believe the rumor about a broken bone. Chay had his arm wrapped from his wrist to assumedly his elbow and his arm in a sling. I don't know about you, but if he hurt his wrist, would they really imobilize the entire arm? Something tells me this isn't a wrist injury...or worse, not only a wrist injury. Either way, I fear both will be out significant time.
gopherz
I'm trying to say that no more Trupp would be a great assumption

luapsided
From the view the game gave us today of trupp and Genoway sitting side by side, Im definitely thinking more than 3 weeks for both of them. With the freshmen line doing so good and Genoway's ability to do what he does, I hope the team will be ok for the important games to come without these two in the lineup. There definitely wasn't too many positives other the the W's from the games this weekend, I thought, the team seemed pretty sloppy for a majority of the weekend. Hope we will get a good look of our restructured team next weekend and they pull off a couple key wins.

Big A HG
Isn't it time for you to go get your Spring Perm. Try not to inhale too much of the peroxide fumes. I think that's what Osh has going on...his hair is awfully curly.
Sioux-Hockey-Fan
During the game today, They said Trupp has a broken bone in his leg. I heard Sweeny say that too. Sounds like the season for Trupp. Broken bones are usually at least 4-6 weeks. Maybe we will get lucky with a quick heal! ***thinking positive***
SiouxTupa
Trupp has a really bright future ahead of him. I think it would be best if he was out of the lineup unless he is 100%. It protects him and it protects the team. I love watching Trupp play, but it would be horrible to create a nagging or aggravated injury to that leg. The team is strong, and anytime you miss a couple players it affects that chemistry. The bright side (at least in terms of the Genoway injury) is that we get to see more of Marto and LaPoint out there. For at least today, I think this would go down in the minus column for LaPoint. He didn't have the greatest weekend, IMO. But that's a different debate. I wish them both a speedy AND FULL recovery.

My only knock on LaPoint, if it's really a knock at all, is that he needs to be quicker with his decision-making. When I was at the games this weekend, he would have time to clear the puck and end up making a poor decision or just waiting too long to make the right one. He played ok, just needs to catch up to the speed of the game it seems to me.
SiouxTupa
I agree. Once the guy develops some instinct (from experience), he'll be a force. He's got good hands and feet, and a great range.
