AZSIOUX Posted February 2, 2008 Posted February 2, 2008 another game where we give up 1 goal total. thats big time D and big time goaltending Quote
The Whistler Posted February 2, 2008 Posted February 2, 2008 As for the quick whistle, it was just one of those times when the ref wasn't in the best position to make the call; lost sight of the puck and blew the whistle. I was mad as heck at the time, but the same thing happens in our favor at times. Can't really argue that, though I'm sure we all would if the Sioux had lost tonight! I was just bitching about the refs to keep in shape. I agree with you that it's just one of those things that are going to happen in hockey and hopefully even out. Quote
Sioux Traveler Posted February 2, 2008 Posted February 2, 2008 Why do people leave before the overtime starts, my ten year old wants to know? Quote
BigGreyAnt41 Posted February 2, 2008 Posted February 2, 2008 Talking about the Top Ten on SC again, the anchor said "...and a hockey goal you won't believe". Also, I think I saw a teaser of a possible Zach Parise goal. He's #9 for the Devils, right? Quote
Reformed Gphr Fan Posted February 2, 2008 Posted February 2, 2008 Did anyone here go to the game and if so did you notice if there was a lot of selling of tickets outside before the game? Thinking about driving down tomorrow. When FSN lost the signal I freaked out. Thought my wife was sitting the remote and she changed the channel We had the exact same argument at our house! Quote
siouxnami Posted February 2, 2008 Posted February 2, 2008 Just saw the preview for top plays. We are on there. They said "a hockey goal you will not believe." Quote
siouxfan123 Posted February 2, 2008 Posted February 2, 2008 Sportscenter's top play number..................10 no, 9 no, 8 no, 7 no, 6 no, 5 no, 4 no, 3 no, 2 no, #1!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Quote
WiSioux Posted February 2, 2008 Posted February 2, 2008 Trupp's goal # 1 on ESPN2 Congrats Trupper!!! Quote
BigGreyAnt41 Posted February 2, 2008 Posted February 2, 2008 Freshman, #1 play on Sportscenter on a play that beat your #1 rival in overtime. Must be nice. Quote
Let'sGoHawks! Posted February 2, 2008 Posted February 2, 2008 Some of the jerks over at the gopher messageboard were saying it wouldn't be a top play. Congrats to Evan, as I've said all year, he's going to be a good one. (he already is) Quote
HeidiSioux62 Posted February 2, 2008 Posted February 2, 2008 I am SHOCKED!!!!! We played IN Minnesota and we ended up with 4 powerplays (not that we necessarily did anything with them) and MN ended up with 3. Has that EVER happened before? I have a feeling heads are going to roll tomorrow. Quote
JLP157 Posted February 2, 2008 Posted February 2, 2008 Anyone else see a pattern emerging?..... Another Sioux/Rodent game in road jerseys.....another ESPN #1 Play of The Night! GO SIOUX! RODENTS SUCK! Quote
dakotadan Posted February 2, 2008 Posted February 2, 2008 We just watched Trupp's goal as the #1 spot on Sports Center's Top Plays of the Day! Quote
BigGreyAnt41 Posted February 2, 2008 Posted February 2, 2008 THEN they went back and replayed the goal 3-4 times right before the end of the Sportscenter broadcast. They made sure to give props to Martens for the pass, as well. Buccigross (sp?) seems to be quite the hockey fan and lobbies for it a lot. Quote
Let'sGoHawks! Posted February 2, 2008 Posted February 2, 2008 They just showed it about 4 or 5 more times as the show ended. Quote
forecheck Posted February 2, 2008 Posted February 2, 2008 Here's Trupp's goal!!! Very nice! I was hoping to be able to find this game at a bar locally in Denver but had no luck. Thanks for posting this! Quote

Wouldn't have been a goal without him that's for sure!! Quote
