I would not argue many of your points only to say I disagree with you and your perceived understanding of my acceptance. I live in a real world and know we can’t wish everything we want to change. I am not what is wrong, I am the current reality. What can change today, tomorrow? Do you think firing everyone on your hit list changes anything today. No. Why waste the energy on making torches. The season isn’t over. We have been dealt this hand. We have to play it out. It doesn’t turn out, eventually we start over. We have some good players and some very good recruits waiting in the wings, need to be very careful or the cupboards will start bare for the next guy if it comes to that cause they will bail. And remember this, parents of recruits read blogs. We can seem a little unhinged on here at times so put yourself in their shoes while you post some of the stuff on here. Because we don’t want to add to the recruiting problem. Kind of like being the friend with the crazy wife that nobody wants to visit, and you wonder why!!

Seriously you’d think that the world was ending or something. Everyone take your meds and it’ll be alright. It was a bad day. Bad day. Perhaps our expectations vs investment are not realistic. We don’t have the credibility of NDSU, the facility’s of SDSU, we are located in one of the flattest desolate football locations in the country in a town where the only thing people really care about is Hockey. Not an easy sell. I don’t disagree that there is blame, but if you have ever coached, you can prepare, motivate, push all you want, the bottom line is these are young men and they need to execute. The coaches are not the ones out there. Players make plays. I don’t know that we got out coached, cause none of us know the game plan. But we got outplayed and led, on the field. That is on the captains and players. It was ISU’s homecoming coming off an embarrassing loss and they have confidence playing us. I am surprised everyone on here is shocked they went off on us. The season is not lost yet. Let’s see how they respond first. They responded well after the last loss.

Great job tonight boys, that’s how you finish a team! Two concerns: 1. Scheel and his lack of action. Was solid no doubt, harder to stay in a game like this for a goalie, but next week will be a very different story. 2. Scoring early. We need to get out on good teams not chase. We can afford to on a team like this, we won’t get away with it next weekend. That being said, great sweep excited for next weekend!!

Watching some hockey this morning saw Coach Freund walking the kid through the Ralph this morning! Assuming it was him anyway. Hopefully he liked what he saw!

Was a fun game to be at. I think UND can be a top 20 team. I think Boltman and McKinney are the only true home run hitters on the field and continuing to get the ball in their hands will make or break this offense. I think the loss of Otis Weah looms incredibly large. I love James, but he looked beat up and hobbled. I think this is the best we can expect out of Kett. I think this year the coaching staff needs to play to win not play not to lose. I think if we can get home a few more times and pickup a couple sacks per game, we will be in most games.

Great stuff as always Teeder. Super early I know but do you think Grover has a chance to move up the depth chart?

How big a loss is Bruner?? Was he expected to start? Anybody talking about the why??

Perhaps I just wast paying enough attention but did it not seem like Caulfield didn’t see much ice? Was he hurt?

Why isn’t Travis Lueck on the list? He is a college coach, was a fantastic WR and KR, was built like Maag and the boys, seems logical.

I think think the staff knows the clock is ticking. At this point you bring in whatever you can to improve the team. I believe Bubba and co. knows they need to be competitive in the Missouri Valley right away in order to keep his job. And we all know there is some weeding that can be done! I believe in him.

Was a lot of fun at the game tonight. The atmosphere was fantastic. Was pretty cold in there, it is an ice rink for the night I know but even for that. But the crowd was into it. Preparty was really fun. They went through a lot of beer out there. Lot of beer inside too. Pretty sure the Orleans folks would have no problem hosting UND again. UND outplayed them most of the game. Few bad calls aside it was a great defensive game from everyone. We skated really well and you are all right about Senden. He plays so hard that he raises the bar for everyone. Kind of a younger Nick Jones type who just works harder than everyone else. Scheel was absolutely solid. Be hard to go back to Thome but you have to at some point. If we forecheck all the time like that, we will be a tough team to beat!! It was definitely worth coming here. Now on to Nashville!!!

Anybody hear if Schwabe from Thompson is on the radar. Pretty small but seems really fast and seems like he could be a Dressler type kid even though he plays QB. Maybe corner?? Have not seen him personally just see stats and this kid is averaging like 4 TDS per game either running or passing??

I was thinking the same thing on Izzy. Was complaining that they used him so awesome on that first drive and then we didn’t see him the rest of the game, then boom, the long bomb! I think we need him to open up the field. Would like to see Cloyd get rolling. Hell some wishbone with all 3 backs would be fun to see!

Respect is earned not given. As easy and frustrating it is to feel disrespected, we need to prove it was not luck. They don’t see what we see, take the time to go in-depth and breakdown the coaches and players. We put together some quality wins and we will climb the polls. This is a huge win, now we need to follow it up!

Initial Grades: Offense QB- A Ketteringham was great RB- B Santiago underwhelming, Oliveira awesome but turnovers, Johannson solid WR’s - C Drops, not great separation TE’s- B Good OL- B Did not dominate, just ok There we’re a lot of plays left out there. Ketteringham was great. I think Jon S will want to forget this game, Brady rushed awesome? Needs to have to carry the football around campus all week ala “The Program” and have people try to jar it out. Johannson was solid. I had hoped to see domination from the line. Not much room for Jon S out there. Maag is going to be a good one. That TD catch was fantastic, Izzy looked like he’s taken a step up as well. I think he’ll be seeing the TD drop in his sleep tonight. I think the WR group will be better than tonight showed. If we continue to use the TE’s, they could be really good. My armchair observations.

It can’t be good if Stanley isn’t rolling by now. Have to be thinking that his surgery didn’t take or something. Kid is a beast too!!
