Still better than no Santiago

No excuses for today. We had Santiago, McKinney, Maag available and still got our butts kicked. Disappointing level 10 tonight.

I change my mind. Fire Bubba too. His decisions single handed lost our playoffs hopes this year. This was an embarrassing....

It didn’t matter who we were playing that the lower bowl wasn’t fun....

Or the Ralph needs to quit baby sitting the students and squashing all the fun. Most of the things other student sections do is not allowed in the Ralph anymore. It’s not like what we did was necessarily bad but if you couldn’t do it in church you couldn’t in the Ralph.

No I expected much better last year. This year my expectations are close to being met if they still make the playoffs. Many of you didn’t even think we would make it this year and will complain even if we do. I’m sure many of you would still complain if we lost in the semis knowing your low expectations at the beginning of the year.

My expectations were much higher than many this year as I thought we would go 8-3. Many of you should be happy that they exceeded your low expectations...... not having a losing season is better than what it could have been.

What was your prediction at the beginning of the year for the end of the year record. Many of you didn’t experience ext the team to get more than 6 wins this season. Did we leave some easy wins in the field? Yes but we also came up big in some tough games. The season may still be a disappointment if we don’t win, but I will be happy that we didn’t have another 3 win season.

Maybe the students are tired of the nanny state rules. I don’t blame them.

This program can not afford a wholesale coaching change. They need to dump Rudy and that is just what they need. Move kostich to another position or dump him too.

We were really missing some speed on offense this week. We need some speed to get guys open against their good corners. I thought we would be fine without Izzy and Santiago but it was glaring that we didn’t have the same level of speed. The team played their hearts out and only lost by 5 points. The loss sucks but we were right with them if we could have got a couple stops or got something going on offense. We need to get healthy and win out. We can make a run if some guys can step up and fill these voids.

Students should show up. Weather not too bad and there is no hockey game to compete with. They need an excuse to party this weekend. Hopefully they are not too hungover Saturday morning

Between two end zone int and going for it on four downs instead of field goals if we would have executed better we easily would have put up 50+, good thing we didn’t need those points. the one td with the back ups was a complete fluke so I don’t fault them for that one.

We needed to run the ball more and milk this clock starting in the third. We literally could have marched into the end zone running the ball on every down. I see what Bubba was trying to do. The game was over and he simply wanted to milk the clock and avoid any unneeded injuries. We dont have a true 4th string RB that we can play without taking away eligibility. That’s why we saw Brady and JJ running out the clock instead of Weah. We ran #1 towards the end after getting JJ banged up and he is not the thunder we need on those downs. Great win and glad to see we were ready to play from the first down.

We can easily beat Montana if we show up ready to play. We can’t have any weaknesses on defense. After hearing and reading stories in Montana how were they ranked 14? Purely reputation

These polls are garbage. They need to go to an rpi system for playoff selection with autobid. No reason to have a subjective selection process. The biggest joke was UNI being one spot away from being ranked. That’s how you know this is a joke
