Does anyone know if the 2016 spring game date has been chosen and where I could find it?

I encourage you to cheer for the school. I've talked to lots of people who think the hockey players are cocky jerks too and their attendance is great. Having school spirt makes the college experience much more enjoyable.

It's a safe assumption he will not be a factor the rest of this season. I hope no one gets their hopes up. Fingers crossed that it isn't major so that it heals quickly and lessens the amount of time he will miss in the off season.

Grew up in Minneapolis and went to Benilde St. Margaret's in the Twin Cities. Left the team when the coach (mistakenly) chose a different goalie and finished high school in Chicago. Good kid, good family. athletic and competitive. Needs to keep his emotions in check. I expect him to be a good addition at UND.

Our best recruit from last year... so far. Lots of other promising people. But no doubt he has been absolutely outstanding.

Agree on many of your points but disagree on one: the QB situation IS settled. It's Studsrud. Flaws and all, like it or not, he is the player that coaching staff has decided is the best QB currently on the roster for this team.

Clarification: Studsrud was recruited and offered by Mussman. Mussman was fired and Bubba honored his verbal commitment.

I have been told by a member of the coaching staff that there is a long term goal to bring the team back to campus. I can't imagine it's anytime soon, though. Decades for sure.

Please replace the PA guy. I enjoy the enthusiasm but his voice is too high pitched for my taste. I'm just not sure exactly what to do to improve the atmosphere other than having a winning team and getting more fans in the seats. Watching a game there is sterile and boring. It's a real shame because it's a great facility overall. It's just an average football venue. To echo what others have said it's frustrating to have no football specific clothing options at the bookstore or elsewhere, and there can't be too many football venues (I include high schools) that don't sell merchandise at the stadium. There are some tables in the tailgate area but it's flummoxing why there isn't stuff to buy inside.

This is exactly my point. UND is still far behind in talent. Geaux Sioux, "unacceptable" is, for me, far too strong in year 2 with a 2-1 record and an FBS win. There are obvious problems for sure, but they are ahead of schedule as far as I can see. It's going to take a while until we have a talented offense. Defense is much easier to fix in a shorter period of time.

There is a large amount of overreaction going on with UND football. We're fans, that's what we do, but in hindsight there have been so many comments since last season that sure look like overreactions to me. "We're going to the playoffs this year... we have a shot at a Big Sky championship... we are going to beat NDSU, etc." We have a young inexperienced QB (who the staff still believes gives us the best chance to win), we have an OL that the staff believes is subpar in skill and talent (the more talented linemen are not yet ready), and we do not have any proven game breaking skill players on offense. "Bench Studsrud... fire Rudy..." I believe Bubba is a good hire and will turn things around. It takes more that one full season's recruiting class - and lots of experience - to reverse years of sub par recruiting.

That speech by Bubba was in one of the post game video highlights too. He also commented that this weeks victory won't mean anything if they don't take care of business this week (paraphrase).
