I really hope Blair gets redshirted. He could use a year in the weight room and in the cafeteria. It speaks to the depth of the OL that he's even being considered to have his redshirt pulled (no matter how talented he is).

Phase 2 needs to be an immediate priority.

One man's opinion in reference to the above opinion... In comparison to other FCS facilities I've seen the locker rooms at Memorial are OK. If you like character, which I do, they are pretty good, but in comparison to other facilities they appear underfunded. Help is on the way for this obviously but I'm hoping its sooner rather than later. Regarding Alerus's impact on recruiting - again one person's opinion - the facility is great. The game day atmosphere is fairly sad. It even has elicited snickers from recruits, especially late in a lost season. Winning will change a lot and let's hope Bubba and his team can make the game day atmosphere incredible. Overall from a recruits perspective - aside from the facilities - the program appears underfunded in many ways In comparison to other nearby FCS programs. And it does not help that the best game day atmosphere and trophies are just south of Grand Forks. With that said I think this program is on the right path and the momentum is real. Thanks to Bubba and staff for not letting the program's negatives slow their progress.

Anyone know why Mussman never embraced the camp process? Everyone else does it. Frankly it seems like a fire able offense.

Offers that are given after seeing a player in person (at, say, a camp) are much more valuable than offers given based on tape. If Bubba and his staff want a player after seeing them in person - no matter how many other offers the player has - that is good enough for me. Would I prefer ND getting a player who has MAC offers? Of course. But the program isn't at that point yet and this is how you build a program the right way.

It is not a necessary evil. How do you think the Ohio State/Michigan and Alabama/Auburn threads work? They ban trollers. Discussion is great. People purposely trying to get a reaction are not.

The QB situation is the biggest X factor. It's hard to know what we are going to get. Without that it's tough to know how the season will play out.

Agreed. Phase 2 needs to get done ASAP. North Dakota is behind the schools they compete against even with the completion of the HPC.
