Creative Writing and Literature Professor.... I hope those skills come in handy in an emergency situation, since she apparently has no use for the ROTC.

The post I replied to mentioned a freeway. I assumed there may be traffic. :-).
-
at least there's the option of jumping out into traffic in that scenario.

If there ever was a sporting event worthy of being interrupted with a showing of the film "Heidi", this would be it.

Is that lit up sign across the ice the attendance or an advertisement for Motel 6?

Was San Diego their first plane ride? I can see where that would be exciting for a summit school.

I'm pretty sure Troy Huff could shut a latex salesman like yourself down when he wanted to. He showed flashes of playing great defense, followed by long stretches of sandbagging. just like most of the team did those years. They had to be talented, as they finished around .500 every year while refusing to play as a team and refusing to box out. That is my long lasting memory of that group; "box the f___ out!!!!"

This is what can happen when you don't make a change when it's needed. i.e. 2 years ago. Jones took the most naturally talented group in school history and allowed them to be the most undisciplined, disappointing team in school history. but now he's two years in to somewhat of a fresh start with players that came to UND with the mindset of playing hard in all aspects of the game, and playing as a team. (They didn't learn that here). UND basketball is fun to watch again. Jones will continue to fail at end of game decisions, but with mediocrity as the standard, Faison will most likely extend his contract. #hailJones

Big Sky Semis: #1 Weber vs #5 UND (3/11 7:35)

Crandall did all he could do defensively on that play. it was just baffling to me why we would leave him out on an island in 3 point land guarding the best 3 point shooter in the league while we are up by 3 points. I just kept waiting for the double to come over. We came with double teams all game long to the wings and corners and it worked well. I'd much rather double and end up giving Bolomboy a bunny with 11 seconds left and keep a 1 point lead than let Senglin work all alone for 5 seconds to gain separation. I guess we will just have to disagree on this one. I thought it was a horrible end of game defensive strategy when up by 3 points. -

I agree but they played it correctly and took Hooker completely out of the play with two guys on him almost the entire 11 seconds. Before that, we let them clear out for Senglin to do whatever he wanted one on one for 5 seconds before he drained his three to tie it up. During the timeout beforehand, a coach with a brain instructs his team to double Senglin to get the ball out of his hands. -

my thoughts exactly. edit* I should add if not foul, at least come out and double Senglin and make someone else shoot and make a two point shot.
