So….this week I had a call from a 701 number that I missed. I returned the call and it was the UND ticket office surveying former season ticket holders. We had a VERY nice 20 to 30 minute talk about football, promotions, the game “experience,” and how FB can connect with the extended community. So, yes UND is seeking input! And they didn’t ask for a donation…just getting input.

listening as I am driving and stopped for gas at half time….sounding good. A TFL is almost as good as a QB sack.

I will have to listen on the radio again while driving! Go Sioux..

Driving home from a game all day but listened to the whole game on the radio. Great start for the season….. Loved hearing so many new names…

I hesitate to ask but is Otis Weah playing anywhere? Wish we could have helped him overcome whatever it was.

That 3% lodging tax is a hike and did it say what the lodging tax is now? A few years ago I paid 14% in Duluth’s Canal Park. As I remember from friends who lived there at the time, the Fargodome had a little controversy when it passed.

I subscribe to their on-line version. They own several papers in MN too. One of the few non-biased papers left. They publish MPR articles. I also appreciate the GFH sports coverage.

I do not like NIL either but I fear it is here to stay.

Cheap beer and letting students of legal age drink would do it. Announcer: That is a UND touchdown (QB sack, field goal, tackle for a loss). Beer is now (discounted rate) until 25 bottles are sold or for 10 minutes or whatever. Why give away pizza when you could offer cheap beer?

One seat, rows 10 to 15 at the 50 yard line keeps me happy. Have not been to a Jack Rabbit game in a while…

No alcohol in the student section? WOW I was sitting in the opposing team’s side at another college game. The students there were drinking. Seriously….. the man behind me said lady is this your blanket? Yes…well there is beer on it. I looked at him. Not me, the students back there. They were throwing beer (not drinking it). Do we allow visiting students to drink where they sit? So, I think students of age should be able to drink, IMHO.

Not so sure…..corporate healthcare is not what it is cracked up to be. Although the GF area is large enough to support all specialties and sub specialities. It is the gobble-gobble of smaller area hospitals and clinics that change the small community landscape…forever.
