He had some issues too…every coach does (and he left coaching so not so sure about that). The question is: is UND willing to pay what it takes to get a quality, experience head coach and then follow up with all the $$$ to promote the team? I mean, the history of paying minimal $$$ for all inexperienced coaches several years ago should be fresh in the minds of administration. Until there is a $$$ commitment, we should support Bubba not ax him. I am sure the time commitment and steer makes many coaches wonder….many jobs are like that.

I went to SDSU game and now this one. I must have totally jinxed the team…not planning on any other games this season….hope it helps AND the radio on the post game show said the last time we were ZERO was 2014.

As I was leaving the Fargodome…maybe ?3 years ago… the man working and helping seat/direct people commented on my UND t-shirt. I explained my connection and he said he was a UND graduate. “No way, my whole life, would I cheer for NDSU. I would not be in the Fargodome unless they paid me.” We both laughed. I would love it if we beat them in OUR Alerus. Go UND

And what else could they pull out of their hat? The inaugural “Hawk Walk” thru the PUBLIC halls of the Alerus with the cheerleaders forming a walkway on the field as the team enters, filmed from the start by a drone and on the big screen…..with the band playing, the fans standing and clapping…it would help the ambiance and rile up some enthusiasm. You local big boys, GOBC, get on this….. right away! The whole state will be watching. Much better than an inflatable helmet.
