Well I live in MN and nothing, absolutely nothing, can be worse than the childish fighting in the MN House. A more positive topic: wasn't today national signing day? Or has the transfer portal and NIsl almost erased that too?

Mussman was a very young, inexperienced with no previous head coach experience. He had a young team and it seemed very little support from the AD (at least the season progressed). A word of caution here: we also have a new HC and I hope the AD and athletic department supports. In health care, many times a new nurse is thrown into situations beyond her (his) capabilities. Sometimes these people just walk away from the profession…sad to lose qualified people due to administrative decisions. I am not saying Mussman was a good coach. I am saying he did not get the support he needed. Please make sure Schmidt gets what he needs….not just $$$.

Well ND looks tough, powerful but I am cheering for Penn. I loved the 4th quarter of the AZ TX game. I wish AX had won. They left their hearts on the field!

If it gets too much….the AD should step in. Don’t you think he should have some oversight anyway with a new coach and his first year as HC? Couldn’t the AD take over some admin tasks and let him build his coaching staff and team? Sounds too simple to happen. I want Schmidt to succeed, like we we all do!

You’re right…every other word is pay. I agree with you but I grudgingly support it. The horse is out of the barn with NIL. as far as players being “recruited” to follow coaches….what profession has social integrity anymore? It is a changed world.

And maybe that is the one who does all the blocking so the LB get the sacks.

Being a MN girl (ancestors here 1857, 1858 (2), and 1880), I have always cheered for UND hockey. Not sure why. When the North Stars went to Dallas (thanks Norm Green), I quit pro hockey and watched just college.I can be pretty rabid at hockey games..almost got a bench penalty once and then one time my 100# friend tackled me after Zi made an obscene gesture to an opponent’s father. God knew what he was doing getting our of hockey!

Might take more than 6 to 12 months. I still do not know if anyone (quality players and whoever we need) have entered the transfer portal and would like to follow him to UND.

Great to see all the discussion and ownership (and nit-picking?) over our recruits!!! Can’t wait for 2025!
