It's pretty obvious that a few posters have taken the angle of pretending to be UND fans so that there posts to undermine the team are taken more seriously. If everyone ignored these posts we wouldn't need to worry about getting a feature to ignore responses to moronic posters

For what it's worth, we were much more successful in our first 3 years in the Missouri valley than NDSU was. I'm not sure about South Dakota state, but I would assume the same. I know that's not an apples to apples comparison because we had our stint in the big sky, but still something that stands out as better than a lot of people expected.

Any potential that the MVFC can remove NDSUs AD from the position on the FCS selection committee? I think it's a multiple year assignment and not looking forward to more of this.

The selection committee has opened the door for backroom politics a little wider this year. What are the odds there was no coercion between the NDSU and Montana ADs? NDSU gets bumped up a seed and their rival gets screwed out of a home game. Montana gets in without a quality win and gets a home game and their rival gets screwed.

In theory, it's still possible for 6 teams from the Valley to get to 7-4 or better, correct? If ISU-R ends up at 6-5, then I don't see a scenario where UND finishes any worse than the 4th team in from the valley if they win one of their next two. I would think that would get them into the playoffs, but no guarantee. That said, I think we've got a decent shot at ending up at 8 and 3 with a lock on a playoff spot! Beat USD next week and go from there.

When Tommy's done playing at und, it might be a long time before we find a quarterback with his combination of good decision-making, completion percentage, and elusiveness.

We've had a lot of highlight reel TDs this year for sure.

Not giving up sacks has a lot to do with having Tommy back there. You can't find too many QBs who are as good at avoiding pressure as he is.

I usually think jack Michaels does a pretty good job calling the games but it wasn't easy to get a feel for what was going on in this game. Maybe it takes a game or two to transition from baseball to football? I'm hoping the rest of the season is called a little better.

It wasn't at all uncommon for Studs to go 10 of 17 for 170 yards. Some of that can be put on rudy, but not all of it. Schuster has stretches where he completes 8 or 9 out of 10 passes. You never saw that with studs.

After the last two years It's pretty easy to say that UND can play with any team in the country, so I'm not too frustrated about the decision. But still think it would have been a much better decision to wait and see how the fall goes. The only thing that would change my mind is if the new contract allows bubba do something to retain his assistant coaches. I'm much more frustrated with chaves extension.
