NORTH DAKOTA vs. SCSU - SATURDAY Gameday ********
GDPritch replied to AZSIOUX's topic in Men's Hockey
In defense of the offending player though, wow, very close call upon watching the replay. When it's that close, let it go. If we score they can always review and waive the goal if offside. But to call it that close, UND never got even a chance to see if would score. They won anyway though so all is fine in the Forxville! -

Yep, a tie is like kissing your sister (no offense to you or your sister...). -
ASU, really?

Ahh, yes, recall that. That was indeed a Shanks sighting. -

And lately, other than Jost (who unfortunately is out injured) though, none of our forwards have been good either. -

Actually, he's done much better since coming back from injury on the court and I like his play/role, it's just that darn FT line thing. -

Even when he's "playing" he's not really playing. -

Those guys that are draft picks/upper classmen need to earn their job and make plays that win games/light the lamp. Too many of 'em simply not doing that and and if they can't do that on a fairly consistent basis then they should not be here next season. Too much deadwood right now. Go get the split! -
Hey, fire Haks!
-
Yah, recall that play exactly in 3rd period. I just about fell out of my seat, thought WTH is going on out there! Hello?
-
Exactly, I noticed that tonight too, always hesitating on the shot giving St Cloud more time and they were able to block like what seemed half of UNDs shot attempts.

#2 still greatly perplexes me. It's women on women for crying out loud, let 'em freakin' check! Speed/pace AND physicality is what makes hockey great in my mind! And I'm no male pig, I go to/enjoy UND women's hoops as much as men's hoops over the last 35 years. I was raised on soccer as a young lad in Europe, coach girls youth soccer here, and go watch lady UND soccer matches cus it's the same game and I enjoy it. But ice hockey, on the women's side, the game just ain't the same and I ain't buying it.

No doubt as but doesn't title 9 prevent that although one poster said UND, in reference to it, is "over compliant" so perhaps...
-
Brilliant!
-
Yah, thx to Mich winning 9 natties with vast majority 40+ years ago (like Gofer football natties but gotta go back 1/2+ to 3/4 century ago).
-
WT*? How was his statement "arrogance" when he's simply stating a potential (albeit not a given) fact? Arrogance defined is Goofers hockey, look it up.
-
Yup, FSN was only showing the final if the Goofers were in it.
-
I heard Notre Dame may be getting a real football team soon...
-
I get your point but, small consolation, 4 posts also means you beat the other goalie 4 times. That goalie didn't let the puck purposely go by cus he knew they weren't SOG.

Sux. They would of called it on us at the Betty, UND absolutely gets very little hometown calls for whatever reason but life on the road in BSC play is tuff. -
Nope, I think we can both agree we agree!
-
Actually, I was not a Haks basher, despite his not winning a natty. I though he did incredible job in that for a dozen or so years UND was always ultra-competitive/battling for it in the NCAA despite what/number of players they lost the previous season. I hope Berry can turn this ship around.

So then, is that a jab at Berry...?
