  1. Goon, it's 'according to scientific study'. Libs just understand the math...
  2. My son could probably recruit some of his friends for the Sioux if you are short. He skated last year with his older cousin at the SS POI game. We live in the NE suburbs. Go Sioux!
  3. The proper question is 'Will the Ralph boost the power enough so that squirtcoach can watch it without pixelation?" The 30" dish that worked well last year has worked only 30% of the time this year. Go Sioux
  4. First, I want to thank Cheesemover for the effort Sensor's provides to get us the games. I'm hoping Marff didn't realize he was addressing the guy who busts his tail to get the Sioux on TV every week. There are better restaurants and worse restaturants here in the Twin Cities, but none serve the Fighting Sioux crowd better than Joe's. Kudos. Second, my 30" dish was pixelated most of the night. Couldn't make out more than which side of the rink they were playing on for 90% of the game. I had 51-53 on quality all night. I should have gone to Joe's...
  5. Should we assume that we won't be getting the Sioux with the 30" dish for the rest of the year?
  6. [details. As Chris Farley would so appropiately put, "I'm such an idiot!!!" <{POST_SNAPBACK}>
  7. Bears wore black. Were you really at the game?
  8. JLoos, Pat Connelly is the youngest of the Connelly boys. According to his mom and dad, he is indeed the younger brother of Ryan and Brendon. And I meant 'goon' in in the nicest way possible . Your cousin seemed to be in the middle of every play at both ends of the rink. I noticed #19 involved in the game more than any other skater on the Spuds. Maybe they'll play again at the Schwann's Cup.
  9. Yeah, Bears started out well, which is not the norm. Moorhead is strong and fast. With Lee and Johnson back for the State run, they should be the prohibitive favorite. I thought the teams were well matched. A knuckle puck floating over the shoulder of the WBL goalie won it for the Spuds. Essentially, I thought the teams played even, with the floater being the only difference. That Loos, What a goon! . Seriously, he ws very noticeable on both ends of the ice. I thought he was had a bigger presence than Ammerman or VanVelde. Bears might have gotten a little tired in the 3rd after playing 16 hours earlier in GF Friday night. But it's a good test. It's like playoff hockey. Big game in Minnesota HS tomorrow Jefferson Vs Wayzata in Bloomington. It will be worth attending.
  10. Yeah, it came back with about two minutes to go.
  11. 6:53 signal at 55! Should be enough for the game Go Sioux!
  12. Looking forward to watching the games. Let's hope and pray FSSN gives us the signal they put out last Saturday.
  13. I was getting signal of 50 for the football game. We gave up and went to a high school hockey game. For the hockey game signal was > 62. Picture was great. To bad the Sioux weren't scoring goals. It ghas been the signal, like PSB says. Hopefully they'll have this quality signal the rest of the year.
  14. Had PSB out last week. My dish is as peaked as it can get. Maxing out at 50 quality, which means no picture. Football game last Saturday-55. No 'rolling tire' commercial tonight . I am going up to GF in a couple of weeks. I WAS going to do my X-mas shopping there, but I can't remember the names of the businesses that support Sioux hockey. If I could only get a signal......
  15. Jordy is Eddie Christian's son. Eddie played for the Sioux in the early 80's
  16. Maybe UND should offer the friendly confines of Ralph Engelstad Arena to WCHA opponents as their "home ice" when they are scheduled to play the Sioux. It seems like a 'fair and balanced' deal.
  17. 6 shots on goal? Doesn't sound like Bemidji was a very good test.
