  1. The episodes are on YouTube. Like it so far.
  2. The REA, Faison, UND, and the Herald are pushing for it, but few others.
  3. Online anything for Tony and you is a joke. You've already proven that. Some people have actual talents and maturity to work independently and they have actual full-time jobs and families to support.
  4. Bisonville will have to eat barbecued crow, as this will turn it on its head. All the snide comments about UND being mostly online, applies more to them than to us. Wow.
  5. Put the UNI and NDSU games in the Betty only if video boards are added.
  6. I'm sure this board will be glued to ESPNU for softball bracketology. Who is the "we" you refer to?
  7. Some ASun and Southern Conference private schools started lax because they can get northern kids with only tiny scholarship ride to go there and get them to pay mostly full tuition. With only 12.6 schollies, on paper it may seem expensive, but the bursars office has a different opinion on that. A lax teams needs at least 40 kids.
  8. UND has a club team in the Great Lakes Lacrosse League - West Division. They play SDSU and mostly MIAC club teams. NDSU plays at a higher level club level. Denver is a power lax program and won't leave the Big East for anything except the Big 12 or ACC. Air Force can afford to send its lax team anywhere. CC can't move to DI in lax anymore because DIII forbids it. The best hope for men's lax in this region is if Green Bay and Milwaukee start lax and the Horizon needs more teams to sponsor it. The MPSF has a hodge lodge of Womens lax programs. If Ariz St starts it, the PAC12 may break off, and maybe the MWC takes it over. Davis, Denver and some WCC schools have Womens lax too.
  9. That's all you got, really? Johnny and bozoville made the leap that I was Rob Port because I supported the Sioux name and I have made my share if statement that inflamed the bizons. I'm sure I'll get flamed again by Johnny and King ranch.
  10. The Big Sky hasn't made it mandatory ... yet. But its probably safe to say they wouldn't be pleased. Don't imagine that the IPF could be configured for softball? Too narrow? But it certainly wouldn't hurt to have for practices and recruiting.
  11. I apologize to the Newman's for making the association. The Newman's are too industrious and hardworking to raise a troll like you.
  12. For men's lax, UND would almost have to play as an independent. Lax teams often schedule two games over the long weekend, so it would nearly be impossible to schedule except away games. Another regional school like Omaha, UNI, UWGB, or even NDSU would have to start a team at the same time. We aren't getting a Big East (Denver) bid, or Big Ten bid, so we'll just have to watch it grow towards us. Air Force was forced to become an independent this year, and next year will be in the Southern (I think) for lax. Detroit plays in the Metro Atlantic, as there no Midwest or western league outside the Big Ten. Cleveland St is adding it, but the Horizon needs four more teams to sponsor it. Women's lax is easier to find a spot, but still there's almost no teams around us. Northwestern and Colorado U are the closest teams east and south. Maybe the Mountain Pacific would take us, but it would mean an awful lot of traveling for California teams that would prefer the East Coast for tougher scheduling
  13. So, if I hear you right, NDSU screwed themselves over 15-30 years ago, because that was the right time to start hockey. With hockey, how could the bisons ever raised the money it needed, and still needs, for the ole shi***, I mean BSA. NDSU has too many needs now. Got ya!
  14. He can be a student forever, as his folks and grandparents have gobs of money. In ND, you probably see their family name daily, but don't take notice. Johnny was born with a silver spoon in his mouth.
  15. There is a chorus line on bizonville that sings hockey sucks every time it comes up. Guess their not bison fans then?
  16. N Kentucky will be announced Monday as the newest Horizon League member. The Summit can thank their lucky stars IPFW or IUPUI didn't get an invite, as both have stated they would leave the Slummit in a New York minute.
  17. Baylor is much more conservative than GF. Anyone heard how spring matches went? UND apparently plays at Austin Peay for a single match on Sept 15th. Must be part of a trip near Nashville.
  18. Any manager that says baloney to workplace issues when 279 out of 280 people quit, obviously he has his head up his narcissistic butt. Millenialials want a workplace that is joyful and fun, above all. They won't tolerate slave drivers. If they know management is behind them, they will mostly work their butts off.
  19. Idaho State announce Monday they will pursue a 4000 seat arena on campus. Pocatello voted down improvements to its Minidome a couple of years ago, including fixingna roof that leaks. Sac St just announced that it will be pursing an events center today. Idaho is fundraising for a basketball facility. Portland St has an arena authorized and is under construction.
  20. Idaho State is planning a $20 mill 4000 seat venue on campus. No word on video boards. Sacramento St and Idaho have also started fundraising for a new events centers.
  21. The Horizon League is going to a "neutral" court too, as the Detroit Red Wings new arena will replace the on campus higher seeds courts. Not exactly neutral as Detroit and Oakland will effectively be home teams. A fixed venue makes planning for ESPN all the easier.
  22. Install strippers at the loading stations to remove the gas. There's a company that want to build these and more diesel refineries in the Bakken, but shipping would be much more expensive as that company would essentially get a few dollars from every barrel produced in ND. Some of the huge loading stations would become obsolete, so midstream companies would fight it tooth and nail as they loose billions they have invested, or have to spend hundreds of millions to keep up. Texas doesn't have that problem as there is pipelines existing. Texas does ship some natural gasoline almost direct from the oil fields, and they require stripping of that, but not for oil. The necessity of removing gases like ethane and propane from the oil was mentioned this week in the Bakken forum before the latest crash. There are actually some tankers that are much thicker steel, like chlorine and ammonia rail cars. If those rupture, there's a toxic deadly cloud for miles downstream.
  23. Rough riders was excluded from the list, even though roughriders.com isn't used. The USHL team, a Texas minor league team, and the CFL team use other domain names. Rough riders is a state nickname, but it can't be used. Ridiculous!
  24. Zaleski seems to have made the Forum live up to its true name, the Foolem. Generating all kinds of hate around the state for his Fargo centric views. He editorialized about the last UND-NDSU game at the Alerus being such a travesty because UND charged $27.50 for tickets. Now when NDSU charges $60 seat, the hypocrite doesn't say anything as it benefits NDSU. The foolem is just a voice for Fargo fools who think the world revolves around them. But anything negative said about $2000 mill on the Fargo diversion, all hell will break loose. The Dickinson Press is the best paper in ND today. Dustin Monke, who used to be a sportswriter, is on top of all kinds of issues.
  25. The Herald is asking Petroleum Engineers if train loads of Bakken oil are safe with the new standards. Petroleum Engineers can't answer that question, because its in the realm of physical chemistry. Chemical engineers and physical chemists are the ones to ask. Its like asking a Dr about the afterlife, when they should be inquiring to pastors or theologians. I think the Nat gas constituents concentrations in Bakken oil, like methane, ethane, and propane, should be reduced further, but such a setup is expensive, especially when it will only be used for a couple years before pipelines take over. Each loading platform would need a mini-refinery to strip the gases and recover them. The oil and transportation companies do not want to add expenses now when pipeline solutions are just down the road. If Minnesota would just have an urgency to allow pipelines to cross the state, Dayton and their Senators would have a right to bitch. If I owned an oil company, I would insist that the Bakken oil be stabilized for safety reason, but the railroad companies, especially Buffett's BNSF, call the shots.
