  1. We can further feast on B1G teams then. Rutgers is an anchor around the B1G's neck, except in cablessed penetration.
  2. The AHA only allows 14 schollies, but the ECAC allows 18. Most of those AHA schools have tiny arenas, like Canisius has the Sabres practice arena which seats 1800. Those arenas sizes are not enough for the NCHC. Could see them owing to the WCHA for a couple season, and then splitting the WCHA so both halves get an autobid. The WCHA wants to limit the times teams travel to Alaska to once a season. Can only see the NCHC taking Ariz St, UNLV, Notre Dame and BGSU at the moment, unless anot her PAC12 or Big12 school starts hockey.
  3. Meant to type UAH rather than UNH (tablet autocorrect). Rutgers could get their feet wet first as they build an arena, like Penn St did.
  4. A rumor on the Gopher board is Canisius, Niagara, Robert Morris, and Mercyhurst are leaving the AHA for the NCHC. The NCHC wouldn't take them, but a new CCHA with I'll St, Ferris, BGSU, and maybe UNH would. The AHA could backfill with club teams from Liberty, Delaware, Navy, West Chester, URI and Rutgers. Some of those schools have pretty decent arenas and the AHA would be a decent beginners league.
  5. Ill St wouldn't get in until til it proved fan support and actually made some noise in the NCAA . Think Ill St would cause Ferris St, BGSU, and AHA schools to form a new CCHA, making the WCHA even poorer. BGSU or Notre Dame would make both WMU and Miami happy. Nothing else except if they got in the B1G.
  6. Some donor must be fronting the cost of a new arena at Rutgers. The closest decent sized arena is where the Devils play, which is way too big. Ill St opens up a can of worms for realignment. Not to mention that Illinois' educational ssystem is in shambles.
  7. They are always on because you support so much BS but are just blind to it. Lord help you and have mercy on you.
  8. The other guy had an Indian name. Could be from Pakistan or Bangladesh, but the Indian subcontinent. You are just another bison troll that supports NDSu's leadership blindly. If you haven't noticed, UND demands ethical behavior from their leaders and if they aren't, they get trashed on this forum. NDSU fans blindly support any kind of behavior of their leaders as long as they think it will get them ahead. Look at the student fee fiasco. What was supposedly good for five years is no longer good, but you and other bison fano are fine with leadership going back on their word. I have brothers and relatives that are NDSU grads. Support them and want them to be successful. That's entirely different than wanting the Bizon to lose. Hoping Carson Wentz all the success in the world now that he left NDSU. You and Tony just can't seem to grasp that concept because you, Tony, and multiple trolls here hate UND blindly.
  9. If they weren't traveling in a business capacity, why did they go? India has English speaking universities. You and Tony just have a hatred for anything UND. It's funny how Tony is just going off on UND fans because he presumes we hate Carson Wentz. Personally, I hope he succeeds and becomes a star quarterback in the NFL in spite of posters like you and that total nimrod Tony. Carson isn't cut from the same cloth as you and Bresciani.
  10. You can just as easily interject that Bresciani was prejudiced because he didn't allow his two Indian companions access to Business Class when Bresciani could have authorized them. Bresciani appears to be a self entitled jerk, as much as you pretend that he's a great leader like the august and crooked Chapman.
  11. He went with Prakash Matthew, former NDSU VP, and one other STEM person who was named in an article that I can't find now. Both these people were formerly Indian nationals presumably.
  12. The worst part of Bresciani's actions haven't been noted. Other NDSU employees flew coach and weren't given the option of coach+ or Business class. That reeks of elitism by Bresciani, as he simply doesn't seem to care about the comforts of his employees, only himself.
  13. There has been absolutely no UND official who has been pining for the Slummit or MVFC. This in spite of the Slummit needing UND for numbers. Only NDSU trolls seem to be pining for UND to move.
  14. It's the Hebrew year of Jubilee, so world changing events happen out of the blue.
  15. Chicago St needs emergency funding from the legislature of $25 mill by March 1st to stay open. Illinois is in dire financial shape. E Ill and W Ill may have issues too. The WAC and Slummit may not have needed numbers by next year.
  16. Ticket sales for the conference tournament in Reno are not good - downright disappointing - but it's early. www.standard.net
  17. UND is leading the Big Sky in FG% right now (in league games) in both overall and 3pt shots. Never thought we'd see that out of a Jones led team. Rebounding needs improvement though. Think Shanks needs some more muscle and a coach that believes in him. He definitely has potential and just needs to believe in himself and not get down on himself. When Shanks comes around, watch out!
  18. EWU is apparently getting bids for their Gateway stadium expansion. EWU's strategic plan lists their Gateway Project as a top priority, if they get private funding (and if they need it). Idaho's kickoff day from the Sun Belt is March 10th. The fireworks should start soon thereafter.
  19. And Bresciani is conveniently out of the country when fees are raised. He'said not responsible!
  20. Chancellor Hagerott said Bresciani's travel arrangements, though legal, are an embarrassment.
  21. With bigger volumes, a gasoline outlet gets lower prices from a distributor. Here in TN, grocery chains like Food City and Kroger have gas stores owned by the chains right in the grocery store parking lot, and they offer bigger discounts than Hornbachers/Holiday, and their gas lines are seemingly always full. Hornbachers in Grand Forks also offers the Holiday discount, at least it did during the Holidays.
  22. They are joining an FBS Big Sky and don't want this increase associated with either FBS or the Big Sky. In addition, they will have some rather hefty exit fees.
  23. FCS is planning to seed the top 16 playoff teams, not just the top 8.
  24. UNI has gone FCOA for all sports, including football. Some Big Sky AD's are concerned about UND's ability to make FCOA when they can't.
  25. You must hate Brewster's comments about player suspensions then, without giving specifics.
