Unfortunately, volleyball has really fallen off my radar the last couple seasons. I used to be a season ticket holder and watched all the away games on Pluto. Hopefully, this year they start to show some signs of life. Contract is good through the 2021-22 broadcast season. I, too, believe/hope Midco contract is extended in the next year.

I was actually more disappointed that the interlocking ND logo was retired than the Sioux logos. That one was my favorite. Plus, I didn't think it was going to be retired, so it kind of took me by surprise.

The longest play of the day was a Schuster bomb to Maag, who ran free behind defensive backs. That's happened a couple of times already with Maag during the fall. Had to look up this kid on the roster because I wasn't even sure who he was. I don't really recall anyone writing his name on here before (except for the recruiting thread, I suppose. I didn't go back to look.) Roster says he is a junior, so was he not used much last season?

I want to win ALL of our home games, get revenge on Idaho St., and prove that the Mo. St. playoff game wasn't a fluke. That's 7 wins. I don't expect to beat Utah State, and wouldn't be disappointed losing on the road to the SD schools. That's 3 losses. The So. Illinois game is a toss-up, IMO. So we're either 7-4 or 8-3 the way I see it.

My wife works for UND (has for 18 years), and she's been impressed with Armacost. Certainly miles ahead of the last two, and probably even last three. Don't know much about Baker, but it's possible that Armacost is the best since Clifford.

Could someone name another commitment/player (past or current) who had that many D-I offers and ultimately chose UND? Just trying to gauge how big a deal this is (which I am not disputing is a big deal).

So, if I am understanding this right, the Mexican restaurant (Charras & Tequila) going into the old Ruby Tuesdays is set to open in July, El Roco will also become a Mexican restaurant (La Cantina), and there will be an Indian restaurant (House of Punjab) at 3000 32nd Ave. (the same complex as Noodles & Company - perhaps in the Spicy Pie spot?)?

I've been a big fan (and defender) of Schuster, but you're absolutely right @Midwestern Hawk that Tommy could have had Maag on that play and should have gone to him. @homer, you are also absolutely right in that that is a freshman mistake that will hopefully go away with experience.

God, don't we know that in Grand Forks this year. A redshirt freshman starts every game and leads the team to 5-2, but yet, let's see what the other guy can do.

Ok, so it's the VT transfer that's suppose to resurrect the Bison offense. The Graetz kid seems like a kid we lucked out on by not getting.

Not surprised there. He was still worthwhile to recruit, though, IMO.
