It would have helped if UND had beat Utah State to generate a more intriguing matchup. Regarding media rights, don’t you think Montana and/or EWU had media rights that espn could have easily bought out? I’m guessing the same thing would have happened in the UND/NDSU case.

I think I agree with you. On a side note, if someone knows or can speculate and cares to elaborate, what effect does using a second QB have on Tommy? Does it through off his rhythm? Does it make him think he's not a complete player? I guess after what happened on Saturday, I'm of the opinion to give Tommy the reigns and let him drive those horses.

I've been thinking this is the perfect time for a bye. Normally, later in the season is better, but for this season and this team, now is the time. Fix what you can. And get yourself psyched for a big game.

Yes. Unfortunately we don't have the O-line from Spring 2021. I think they will get up to speed in time, but maybe not in time for October 2. Hope they have a good two weeks.

The Vaughan fumbles bother me. The Maag fumble bothers me only because Maag shouldn’t have played this game, getting him healed up for October 2. The Schuster interception doesn’t bother me. Someone remind me what 5th turnover was? I think if we had just 1 turnover and had not left so many points on the field, fans would have said, “ok, they did the job we expected them to, now let’s beat the Bison.”

Surprised he played today. May as well get him healed and rested for October 2.

After seeing all 3 quarterbacks in game action today, I think protecting Tommy Schuster (ie keeping him healthy) is imperative for season success.

Not feeling too confident against the Bison. It would be different if we had a bye week and they didn’t, but both teams are gonna be ready to hit somebody, and I don’t know if we have enough stuff to win that fight. Hope the boys prove me wrong in a big way.

Isn’t that the recipe for defensive success against us? Everyone’s going to do that, and MVFC and FCS playoff teams will have better players across the board than Drake.

The players and/or coaches need to take a long look in the mirror and realize their season goals are not going to be met if things keep going the way they are currently going. I need to see big improvement in 2 weeks, or this season is a bust.
