The play by play announcer (Gord Miller, I believe) even has a Frank Mazzacco style voice. I like listening to them because, yes, they are homers, but they also are incredibly critical of the players. They expect absolute perfection out of the Canadian team.

Just a gut feeling, but I’m thinking we’ll be respectable (like .500) potentially next year, but 2 years for sure. I think we’ll contend for league titles in 3-4 years.

As was I. Iowa St. was ranked #15 nationally. Texas A&M was also in the field. Probably the two best NCAA volleyball programs ever to come to Grand Forks.

Did a little digging on her and she actually played at the Betty back in 2013 when the UND Classic featured Iowa State. She was named to the All-tournament team.

My interpretation is that the only UND game he will call for the remainder of the regular season will be on February 18 at Minnesota-Duluth, a game broadcast on CBS SN. But he may be able to call UND home games on Saturdays since there are no Saturday CBS dates. Not sure on that one. After the regular season, he also may be able to call UND's first-round playoff series, assuming it's played at home. January and February (all of the NCHC regular season broadcasts). I'm also assuming he will call the Frozen Faceoff in March, as well.
