  1. I would highly doubt that ever happens.
  2. He just doesn’t want to play junior hockey anymore I guess. It isn’t for everyone. Agree though…probably needs another year unless he’s purely a bottom 6 player. He’s not a pp guy on EDM even after playing two year NTDP.
  3. Completely fine, I had heard there was no way he was playing another year of juniors.
  4. 40 man camp going on this week for the 2010s. Sounds like some mn guys doing well (as expected).
  5. He’s a bit undersized…playing a gap year in the O made sense. Clearly he’s past that level but is still really small. Taking the slower path is a decent route. He’ll be really good right away next year.
  6. Great get, I thought he was phenomenal at the WJC.
  7. Generational is a big statement …but he’s the best 2011 goalie in North America (that I’ve seen) and it isn’t particularly close
  8. Watched him quite a bit
  9. Hopefully we’re after Buttweiler, Thompson and Cullen. Would love Daley too but he may be tough being an east coast kid. I get Cullens boys are going Minny but the goofs could screw that up too
  10. Yep, 05s this is their last year, next year is 06s. But in the CHL/USHL leagues it’s tougher as they limit the 20 year olds to 3-4 I believe. NAHL is wide open I believe.
  11. Wasn’t that tipped? We’re getting worked decently to open.
  12. Bantam age kids play JV at HM…unless good enough for varsity. Many HM 8th graders play JV. Weird deal if you ask me.
  13. Good player
  14. Honeybaked this year….from Alex. I don’t count him as Moorhead.
  15. Good player, grew really early, not in the greatest league whatsoever. But he’s good for sure. Has a unique shot.
  16. Don’t think the Warroad dman got one, no Moorhead 10s.
  17. I’ve heard a bunch of names from mn
  18. No, I was agreeing with your first point…if you’re not in the ushl or CHL leagues it will be extremely tough to even be rostered on an ncaa team let alone play for a blue blood. My comment was on your second point, I don’t think you have to be all world at 16 to play ncaa hockey. 17-18-19 years olds will still pop if they’re athletes/good players. Some just need some time to grow into their bodies.
  19. Agreed on your first comment 100%. As to your second point, there will always be late blooming athletes….and at the end of the day, the athletes will always win out and find a way. A kid could go bonkers in MN HS hockey at 17-18 do very well in juniors the next year and end up on a good ncaa team. You’re probably correct as far as blue chip prospects go though…much easier for early blooming 16 year olds to be propped up.
  20. I can’t believe how many chances SCSU has gotten
  21. Now get another one
