This roster stuff all happens long in advance…I’m assuming Pridham knew he was losing a spot at BU. I also wouldn’t think he’d instantly have a top 6 spot on our team. 3rd rounder, sure. But he’d have to earn it first. There’s other older/worthy guys on our current squad deserving of that look.

Potentially…but his numbers don’t really scream “dominate” at any level he’s played. This may be his year to really put up some bigger numbers, then head to ncaa next year. That could be the case also.

I was at the WJSS yesterday…Zellers had a ton of chances but was a bit snake bit. Some slight criticisms….not overly hard on pucks (fairly one dimensional) and his vision is not high end. Some of the early PPs he was forcing his own number as opposed to making plays based on what the pk structure was giving him. One viewing but that’s what I noticed. With the goalie pulled they yanked him for Mooney, which kind of had to happen. Mooney may have been the most dominant player on the ice along with Stenberg. while I’m at it. Emery looked solid, Heil was very impressive although Finland didn’t have many grade A looks. Swanson was fairly non existent but I noticed some nice slick passes.

Undrafted his first two years of eligibility…small chance he’ll get drafted next summer. Maybe though, he’s dealt with a ton of injuries.

Seems like a solid get, lead EDM in pt/gm from the point. Undrafted kid that may go in his final year of eligibility with a big year (EDM should be good this year). Sounds like he defends hard. Will most likely play 4 years at UND assuming he pans out.

I guess I’m more curious about next season too…however my hunch is the last spot will be a depth add…senior like the last one.

Can’t lose this one. Would be nice to add a Nodak native.

Agreed. Although very high end…he seems to be more of a late bloomer (if that’s what you want to call it ) as compared to a guy like Mortone. Played on all the same all star teams, but was more buried in the lineup. I’m guessing he shot up in height the last 1-2 years. 6’2” 179 is really slight. Might get to 6’3” and def needs to put on weight. As it relates to us..curious how good his English is? That could factor into things. I can’t remember him talking during the draft. In this day and age they usually all speak English good.

Those guys were solid adds though…nothing against Young at all…but he knows what’s going on here.
