Simpson is way more than just a shot. Everything is high end from skating to handling, to shooting, vision is high end etc. The only knock on him has been consistency/work ethic. Other than that you’re talking about a high end 1st rounder talent wise.

100%. I doubt he will want to (as many US players want to get to college quickly) but that’s the world we live in. He may go elsewhere.

100% he should have been invited, especially after his recent play. He’s top 3 in goals for u20 Americans in ncaa…kvas isn’t a ppg player in a high scoring junior league. I think kvas may be able to kill penalties. Either way, kvas won’t make it. Edit: kvas is more than a ppg player in the Dub, I’m mistaken. He must have turned it on over the past month. You still take Zellers over him all day in such a short tourney.

Looks like we’ll only be missing Emery (potentially) from our US players.

Grest team win by NTDP tonight…Cullen and Berchild were very good. Very noticeable. Carels was good, Preston was very very dynamic the last handful of minutes during the game. Scored a really nice goal. Chase Reid was very good.

I don’t believe we ever recruited the older brother, now a Maine commit. And I don’t believe they are overly tight with the program now from what I gather. But they are directly related to the MacKinnons that played at UND a long time ago.

It’ll be interesting…very underwhelming BCHL season last year too. Obviously super young and hurt. But time will tell with this one.

I could def see Jubenvill leaving, probably should if he wants to see a lot more playing time. He’s pretty good. I sure hope Strathmann stays. He’s had flashes, he just needs to be patient.

4 has to be better defensively. But I may be in the minority but the boy’s play sure passed the eye test. We didn’t win but anyone who watched that game/weekend series sure knew who the much better team was. Keep it going and we’ll be a tough out come March.
