Here we are, less than 24 hours from the title tilt in Tampa with Quinnipiac. I'm curious, what do people think about the relationship (if any) between the ultimate success on the ice and the nickname situation?

Some people drink, some eat, some pace, some chew nails, some punch the sofa, some squeeze throw pillows, some hide their faces, some get up and leave the room, some change the channel, some cuss, some loudly. And, yes, some even dare to leave their laptop open on a game chat and register real-time, irrational, and emotional reactions to what they are watching. It really shouldn't bother anyone, and certainly not to the point of calling out fellow UND fans. We're all on the same team.

From the huge disconnect in nickname polling to the utter lack of SS bile, venom, and vitriol among real grown-up humans you meet on the street, I feel sorry for the casual reader here who might assume that this site accurately depicts the name-and-logo climate in GF.
