  1. Its amazing how good Weah is at making contact and then spinning off. So hard to tackle...
  2. Santiago = stiff arm Weah = spin move
  3. True. I really think the team would know they still have a lot to prove even if number 1, maybe more so if 1. They hear about NDSU all the time just like we do. These guys are hungry!
  4. Yeah, I think the seniors on this team have been through enough let down games that this won't be a problem. I mean, I think they could still have a let down game or two, but their mindset will be right.
  5. Massey has ndsu at 3 which I think is fair. It's still only one game. https://www.masseyratings.com/cf/fcs/ratings
  6. I got a 1 day ban on reddit CFB for the highlighted post below.... This is the rule they claim I broke! 3. No racism, homophobia, sexism, rape jokes, victim blaming, or other bigotry We want /r/CFB to be a friendly place for everyone. Even if you're joking, you never know when someone might misunderstand. This also applies to overly sexually- or racially-charged comments that may make groups of people feel uncomfortable or unwelcome. It also applies to jokes about sexual assault, rape, rape scandals, and jokes about domestic violence, as well as mental and developmental disorders. Using sexual assault, rape, domestic violence, or other such cases for flamebait also violates this rule.
  7. It kind of is, because currently it costs too much for a ticket, and they jacked up the ticket prices because there are so few seats. Football outdrew hockey Saturday and football tickets are about 1/2 to 1/3 the price of a hockey ticket. The Ralph could cut ticket prices in half and nearly double the attendance at 50% capacity.
  8. Will love to hear their argument against this. Can they still try to say its bad for the environment? Not that facts matter or anything.
  9. I've always wondered why it isn't done for basketball. The teams could even share a flight.
  10. Say that project goes through, does the EERC benefit in any way down the road?
  11. Is this your answer? https://www.grandforksherald.com/business/agriculture/6897562-Agribusiness-announces-2-billion-project-to-store-captured-carbon-from-ethanol-in-North-Dakota This is a long article with a ton of info, some Snippets: ALDEN, Iowa — Although final details and permits have yet to be worked out, an Iowa agribusiness company announced plans on Friday, Feb. 19, to build a $2 billion pipeline network that will carry liquefied carbon dioxide from ethanol plants in four states to underground storage in North Dakota. Twenty ethanol plants, and possibly 20 more in the longer term, agreed to join the company in its venture that will reduce the carbon footprint at the plants by the equivalent of taking 2 million cars off the road or sequestering about 10 million tons of carbon dioxide per year. He also didn't release the location of the large underground saline formations for storage in North Dakota. An estimated 10 wells would be constructed on the sites to put the carbon dioxide underground. North Dakota was selected for storage because of those geologic formations and also because of favorable regulations for drilling the wells into the formations, Kirchhoff said. In an email, Hoeven said the Plains CO2 Reduction Partnership led by the University of North Dakota's Energy & Environmental Research Center has studied and evaluated the pore space throughout the state to determine where geologic storage can be done safely. He also said there is a state legal and regulatory system to ensure companies store the carbon dioxide properly and the wells are maintained over the long term. Landowners will also receive a financial benefit as they will be compensated for pore space used for storage.
  12. Hawks win thanks to our DB's, who finally turn it on and rack up 3 interceptions. UND wins 31-24
  13. They added that sometime this afternoon/evening.
  14. We are on the same page. Someone said that UND has done plenty to make sure it is known that the games will be on ESPN3/+. I was just pointing out why there may be some confusion, because I completely disagree with that. I just don't think it's too much to ask that UND updates it's website after changing conferences 2+ years ago. Looks like they updated the streaming section within the past hour. I also messaged Wigness and he was very responsive.
  15. He's seriously talented and will make it to a national network someday IMO. Pretty incredible how he can call basketball, hockey, and football, all so well.
  16. Does anyone know what MVFC TV is? It's listed under the Youngstown and Missouri state games on our schedule, but I can't find any information on it on UND's website. I clicked on the "watch" tab, on the homepage, and looked at the television section, and the television section still has 2018/2019 season information, and it lists UND football games on Pluto TV still. https://fightinghawks.com/news/2018/6/22/785161.aspx Under "WatchESPN", football isn't included. Edit: From the "watch" section, the "streaming" button takes you to the same outdated information as above. On UND's website, the section "current broadcast schedule" also does not list streaming as an option https://fightinghawks.com/coverage.aspx Edit: pretty sure the "UND Insider 24/7" page is broken: "Whoops! This embed is misconfigured. (Developers: Please check your browser console for more information)" https://fightinghawks.com/sports/2018/11/28/und-insider-24-7.aspx?path=general Under the watch tab, "UND Insider" is listed twice, and both links take you to the same page. Fighting Hawks Daily is also listed under the watch tab even though they stopped posting new episodes in December, and Sit Down and Cheer is still listed despite not having a new episode in over a year. Under 'Mobile Apps", Pluto TV: "Pluto TV will air all home and away conference football, volleyball, and men's and women's basketball games." and WatchESPN: "All home volleyball and basketball games along with a select number of away conference games will be available on ESPN3 and ESPN+ on the WatchESPN platform." Both sections are completely wrong or have incorrect or contradictory info. Basically nothing on UND's website is up to date.
  17. I think its a fair criticism when UND should be trying to build its fan base. The schedule doesn't say ESPN3/+ to let people know that it will at least be on one of those services, and the game notes imply that there is no streaming option: "For the first time since Nov. 30, 2019, North Dakota football is set to take the field against Southern Illinois on Saturday afternoon from the Alerus Center. Fans can watch the contest on MidcoSN with Alex Heinert and Ryan Kasowski on the call or tune into the Home of Economy Radio Network with Jack Michaels and Tom Dosch." Fans who are indiferent arent going to look any deeper than that. Its UND's responsibility to get the word out - its called marketing.
  18. I may be off topic if you guys are strictly speaking about actions towards refs, but youth teams will develop a mob-like mentality if they dont have a decent coach. Kids viewpoints can change (during gameplay) to where the opposing team is evil - no longer human almost, as they are too young to really have any perspective on life and they get caught up in their emotions. Kids also see old time hockey fights and play games like NHL Hits and they want to do the same thing, because its fun. Like other kids, youth hockey players are still learning right from wrong. Crazy hockey parents egging them on from the stands doesnt help either, but it all comes down to having accountability from parents and coaches, and if there isn't any things like this happen. Some fighting between youth teems should be expected, but not accepted, imo. There are always just bad apples as well - I played with one in hs that got arrested for assaulting a ref during a game in Fargo. Kid was just wired wrong.
  19. Soooo is there going to be un update?
  20. Don't know why they choose not to include espn streaming on their schedule https://fightinghawks.com/sports/football/schedule @Parkers Pros makes a good point, even if streaming is available.
  21. couldn't disagree more about reliability with them. constant buffering for me with their live sports programming. it was nice having all conference games in all sports in the same location on tv though. volleyball has since dropped off my radar because its so hard to track now.
  22. Did he imply that he is better than Maag?
  23. That said, I just looked and midfield seats are available still. Hopefully people just want to avoid the Ticketmaster fees and buy tickets at the gate.
  24. It would help if they reduced the price for the worst seats in the building that nobody ever sits in. ever. Why pay the same as 50 yard line seats when you can just watch the game on tv?
