  1. There are inside scoops for UND football?
  2. Fixed your post.
  3. You mean Feeney isn't Trey Lance???
  4. I hope we can find a QB better than Tommy, but the guy only has 12 1/2 career GP. Can he not improve?
  5. To those of you who want a new coach, are you really that confident we will end up with anyone better? Both of our coordinators would also likely be gone. Good luck getting anyone better at those spots with what UND is willing to pay. Will you want another new coach after 3-4 years? I'm not interested in risking what has been built up to this point for a 50/50 shot at having a worse coaching staff. Our roster/depth has continuously been getting better. Yes we are missing some key pieces but the team depth AND OUR EXPECTATIONS have been improving steadily - those are the important indicators imo.
  6. I have a lot to critique but there is so much bitching that It's not as enjoyable as usual to type it out, so I'll keep it short. Coaching staff needs to run some designed QB runs with no options for Tommy to throw. Force him to run and maybe he learns he doesn't need to play afraid. Also give him a chance to throw some more deep balls. He has thrown good deep balls when he has attemped them. Maybe we should only play one big receiver at a time? Our O-line is terrible and wasn't that great last spring either, which is partly the reason for so many short passing plays. Don't know how people can be ripping Otis so much when his first contact is usually before he make it to the line of scrimmage. Can we get a new strength coach yet? WHY IS OUR LINE ALWAYS SO SMALL!!!!!!!!!!!
  7. Did UND get its 500k minimum payout from the ralph this past year?
  8. Pretty sure they negotiated and came to a new agreement, but he didn't get what he truly wanted, which was a larger % of ticket revenue if I recall correctly.
  9. Not sure we're looking at the same guy... Are you talking about Bo or Richter, the outside receiver on the far right? I was referring to Richter, #5. Also to clarify, by saying he should have turned facing the midle of the field, I just meant that he should have rotated his body clock-wise instead of counter clock-wise when he turned to run toward the end zone. Richter didn't create seperation or open himself up for a pass toward the sideling, and he took has eyes off the QB so Tommy couldn't throw it to him when he needed to release the ball, even if he wanted to go to him. Otherwise, if that was the route he was supposed to run, he isn't athletic enough to be on the field...
  10. Right. They dont have any ownership or recieve any type of investment revenue from it, correct? The word "acquired" confused me a bit.
  11. Siedarm acquired nchc.tv?
  12. Arm chair QB WR #5 should have turned facing the middle of the field rather than to the sideline. He looks really unathletic that play.
  13. Is this on youtube anywhere?
  14. I think he was planning on running and his lane got clogged up sooner than he expected, and he panicked. The coaches have been encouraging him to run - learning experience.
  15. I'd look at the present state of the program given the hand he was dealt with the inherited roster, funding, facilities, and local competition. He built a top ten team while recruiting guys to play out of a locker room in damn near the swimming pool!
  16. Comparison is now vs. before she stated that she wouldn't donate until Kennedy leaves.
  17. Cool. I never said they should build anything now.
  18. Also, UND needs to seriously look into what it would cost to expand the Alerus center in the South end zone to get capacity up to at least 15k. If the MWC collapses and if schools in the new WAC or ASUN are able to transition to FBS, UND can't be flat footed if Big Sky and MVFC teams start looking to make moves. I would really like to see a Dakotas/Montanas/Wyoming FBS conference in the future, and I think it is possible given how much shake up we have seen in the FBS recently. I'm talking longer term. An FBS move could help to potentially lure UNI/Illinois State/Missouri State away from the MVC as well. I'm talking years ahead. At some point the MVC football and non football teams are going to split. It's inevitable.
  19. It baffles me that the Big 12 hasn't picked up CSU. Why don't they like Colorado State?
  20. I'm worried that we won't be able to stop the run. If we can force their QB to throw, he will throw some interceptions. This guy will be a turnover machine through his career.
  21. lots of new tickets released on ticket master for $40. scoop them up!
  22. Pretty sad that they rolled that out and I didn't even know about it though. Guessing it was half-assed? They seem to be popular at many stadiums around the country. https://www.vikings.com/tickets/premium-seating/annual-suites/turf
  23. I was reading the Alerus/UND contract, and found this part about the concessions revenue split to be interesting. UND get's a larger cut of concessions profit based on scanned attendance numbers. If we could consistently draw 10.5K plus, that would be huge. 5.3.6. Share of Concessions Revenue. (1) The Commission will pay to UND a percentage of the Net Profit from Concessions from each Home Game, which percentage is dependent on the scanned number of tickets for such Home Game. The percentage of the Net Profit from Concessions is as follows: (a) 10% for each Home Game where the number of tickets scanned for attendance is equal to 8,499 or less (b) 15% for each Home Game where the number of tickets scanned for attendance is at least 8,500 but less than 9,501; (c) 20% for each Home Game where the number of tickets scanned for attendance is at least 9,501 but less than 10,501; (d) 25% for each Home Game where the number of tickets scanned for attendance is 10,501 or more.
  24. How hard would it be to set up those media tables above the suites near the camera area? Highly doubt those cameras are all being used... Gotta think that this is the space with the most potential. Could that area be renovated as a club/bar lounge? Has anyone been up there to know what the floor looks like or know how far it is between the railing and back wall? It's a bomb vantage point.
  25. This drink railing thing would have been win-win if they could have figured out how to make it work at field level. For example, put the drink railing along the back wall of the endzone and convert that utilities area into a club room or something.
