  1. Alrighty... game was down for me for part of the game tonight on both PC and ROKU. Would not load.
  2. I'm sure he is, but he wasn't exactly lighting it up this year either, and in his one game healthy he scored a whopping 9 points. Not sure why he left, but it's not like he was too good to play here.
  3. P5 getting their own division certainly helps to justify the WAC's FBS comments, as well as UCA's AD's comments... would also justify Chaves need to write the letter. Maybe MVFC will start to talk about FBS as well. Chaves: "So you may be wondering what this all could mean for us at UND. Well, in my humble opinion - because of your amazing support, our flagship status and the conferences that we are affiliated with today – I believe we are positioned very well. I still believe in the notion that collegiate athletics at its core first and foremost is a regionally based entity. Now that we are back playing regional rivals in the same conference on a consistent basis no matter what the next reorganization may look like and as long as our current conferences stay strong, we should be in great shape."
  4. Because with St. Thomas, the Summit will finally have a presence in the Twin Cities. This will provide the league with more exposure in one of their most important recruiting territories for both athletes and normal students. St. Paul/Minneapolis probably has more alumni from summit schools than any other city in the the country as well. It's also a huge media market, and it's actually closer than Greely to more of the Summit league schools. It's also closer than Greeley to another large airport. UNC/Greeley wouldn't really move the needle in any of these areas, and from what I've read, St. Thomas seems to have been DU's preference as well. Does anyone in Denver care about UNC?
  5. You know he was injured, right?
  6. Interesting move by him, given his injury and production so far this year... what type of program will pick him up on scholly? I was also under the impression that his lack of playing time was due to his injury, though. Hopefully this will be like the guy at UMKC who ended up staying with the team.
  7. ________________________________________________________________________________________________________ I bolded the parts I thought were important, and I also underlined the parts that I thought could be most important. The key question that I have is, what does he mean in his usage of the words "support", "housed", and "we" in this paragraph: "So how do we support our current 17 athletic programs moving forward as begin this decade? I believe it starts with identifying a vision for where all of our athletic programs are housed on a daily basis for the next decade and beyond. We hope to unveil this vision out to you all soon with the idea that we want to support comprehensive competitiveness and excellence across the board for our athletic enterprise." To me, it kind of seems like he is saying that UND's conference affiliation should remain the same for a long time "no matter what the next reorganization looks like". Given that, I don't think UND is changing conferences, because he next asks "So how do we support our programs moving forward"? He then says that it starts with a vision for where the programs are housed. And then he says that "we" hope to announce the vision soon. The key word "vision" makes me think his message is in regard to fundraising, since conference affiliation usually isn't discussed until changes are set in stone. Housing could refer to conference membership, but I think it could be in regard to athletic facilities, since he mentions support at UND and specific groups that UND works with within the community. Some of the groups are working together to redevelop Memorial Stadium, and the new building will be "housing" some amount of UND Athletics operations (UND Athletics will occupy the entire ground level floor). And lastly, who is the "we" that will be announcing the vision? Is it UND and other schools, just Bill and the UND athletic department, or is it UND Athletics and a group of fundraisers or partners? I think this announcement will be in regard to the new building at the Memorial Union site, as I don't think there has been an official announcement yet, and the athletics master plan "vision" will be updated to account for some athletic department operations moving over to that new building, which in-turn, reduces the necessary size, scope, and cost of HPC phase II.
  8. The NCHC app is great. They only problems were from the very beginning of the season. Its been solid for me every year on PC, the cell app, and on Roku. A+ service IMO.
  9. Holy cow... I happened to have that one on in the background tonight... what a finish!
  10. look at their schedule here: https://www.midcosportsplus.com/ You will not see UND hockey.
  11. It's not. That person doesn't know what they are talking about. On second thought, I did watch a HS hockey game on it, so technically they answered your question accurately.
  12. What about UCA to summit if/when WIU leaves? The Southland isnt what it once was, and they have baseball and are only 3.5 hours from ORU and 5.5 hrs from Kansas City. Football could play in a football only conf or as an associate member somewhere, and they are solid football program in case the Summit eventually ads it (unlikely but ya never know).

  14. People have been ripping NAU predictions because they are a founding member of the big sky blah blah blah.. They are my pick for joining. If not now, in a few years when the league is a bit more established. Geographically, it just makes too much sense, just like UND moving from the Big Sky to the Summit was inevitable.
  15. Just saw that they posted a tweet from Matt Brown. He's the guy who first broke this WAC story, and I have zero reason to doubt him, but the question is, what does it mean for a school to get vetted? My guess is they are just doing their due diligence and Augi will be a hard pass.
  16. But what's in it for the WAC? Do they really need small DII move-up that is completely out of their footprint? Makes sense for Augi, especially because it would be easier for them to get into the Summit as a post-transition D1 school, but I just cannot see the WAC needing them at this point.. Stranger things have already happened though!
  17. Especially because the season would have been over by now. Not gonna lie, it feels great, in JANUARY, being able to look forward to football season in only a few weeks! Makes for a much less depressing winter! This past fall however........ ughhhh. Not worth it long term hahah
  18. This is accurate. UND doesn't have anyone capable of driving the ball consistently either.
  19. yeah... not much you can do as a coach when your guys cant shoot the ball any better than some random joe at wellness center. He needs some better guard play ASAP. I will reserve judgment until after the next recruiting class.
  20. Didn't know that.. wow. Don't look at Kentucky's record! Omaha in the bonus already.
  21. Omaha down 2 going into the half at Kansas State.
  22. They might as well. Boise sounds like a cancer. Montana has its own issues though with financing and school attendance. Montana State as a university is dominating them and Montana isn't in the best shape right now to make the move. UM could prob manage it but it wouldnt look good politically.
  23. My god do we look bad! Protect the ball! Why are we playing so fast when nobody can handle the ball? Maybe I'm spoiled by Crandall and Stewart, but this team badly needs a legit point guard.
  24. You mention DAE - is he playing for sure? Drake message board - https://www.drakenation.com/146037/North-Dakota-at-Drake-1222
