Ok. How does streaming work? Are hockey TV rights negotiated with all other Summit sports? How does media rev get split? Look at how CAA football affiliates got shafted in the latest CAA deal. Who decides the format of Summit hockey playoffs? Is the tournament played at the same time as Summit basketball? Does NDSU have any say in decisions that affect UND hockey?
What does it matter? Seriously? At least think a little bit before posting.
Think of it more like them being booted, only its mutual. ASU is an upgrade so I see no issue. ASU can pay a hefty entrance fee in excess of one mil though if miami's fee is waived.
Xavier is looking to raise money to start a FB program. They would probably look to join the pioneer as they said they would use the Butler/Valp type model. Trying to raise 20 mil for a small stadium.
Interesting development. Lot may be a bit small for hockey (roughly 265ft x 275ft), but it could potentially work. Guessing they are looking at a basketball facility though.
Double headers are literally the only way I can get my buddies up to UND for a FB game. And I'm guessing that's what get's many out of towners up there for games as well. @UND-FB-FAN you sound just as bad as hockey-only fans. The school, and we as fans, need to work on developing a better synergy between FB and Hockey. Would a noon kick really that big of a deal when the game is going to be sold out anyway?
Interestingly, it seems the Manitoba Bison picked up a former 4* Florida Gator D Lineman. Was at Northern Colorado last year. Cousins with one of the coaches, apparently. https://gobisons.ca/news/2023/1/17/football-bisons-football-announce-commitment-of-program-changing-linemen-lamar-goods-sean-rowe.aspx
If we are looking at a pipe dream conference, you gotta include Georgia and Liberty, with High Point situated between. Add Tenn State, UAH, and Lindenwood, and you have a decent geographic footprint!
