  1. Complete fall numbers were posted https://ndus.edu/contact-us/institutional-research/reporting/
  2. How are UND and NDSU allowing BSC to have 4 year college ambitions? Seems like a problem with the attendance issues in ND and the looming attendance cliff.
  3. Did they say or imply anything of interest? Interesting coincidence that they were all there during the same weekend.
  4. I think the MVFC game of the week games were moved from ESPN3-only to ESPN3 and ESPN+ for this season. Could be wrong.
  5. https://www.inforum.com/sports/bison-media-zone/mens-sports/fcs-waiver-means-playoffs-wont-count-toward-4-game-eligibility-rule
  6. Is there an actual primary source? I was thinking of this:
  7. I stand corrected! Thanks for posting the source. Was trying to find one.
  8. There was an update for FBS that didn't apply to FCS.
  9. In the FCS, playoff games count towards the 4 as well. May be saving some appearances for playoffs.
  10. Those is one of the best games I've seen in a long time! Great atmosphere down there. Love it.
  11. Their goal is to start with a club program that will begin play in the 2024-25 season. In 2025-26, TSU will have a "hybrid season" in which it will seek to play a mix of club teams and Division I teams with the belief that TSU will be a full-fledged D-I program by the 2026-27 campaign.
  12. Perhaps the best option is to just roll with the Nodak thing and do it for all sports. Diagonal "nodak" in block print looks dumb though unless its on a hockey jersey, so need to develop a script logo, similar to Pitt (panthers).
  13. I've thought about that recently as well. At least it isn't generic. Pisses me off that people were stupid enough to make the argument that Roughriders was bad because "we can't copy the local high school", and then they go and vote for a bird which it seems like 20+ schools have. At, the time, Flickertails was a non starter, coming from the Sioux name, but I'd take it now. That said, I don't actually mind the current logo, and it pops/stands out in almost every picture where I've seen it included with other logos. It would never look good on the middle of a jersey though (makes for a great secondary, as others have said). Biggest issue I have with the logo is that the design has so much empty space that it causes the stitching to look weird, especially on hats.
  14. Roughriders was by far the best option.
  15. https://twitter.com/JonRothstein/status/1712508282491773097?t=oznVznArsQkYs-RyctnbSQ&s=19
  16. This is probably good news if true - Denver isn't listed.
  17. I was there 08-09. Accidently set off the fire alarm the second night
  18. Is it just me or are there a bunch of overlapping games between MN and SCSU on Fox9+ this year? Any idea what the plan is for overlapping games?
  19. It might please you to learn that the university gutted and completely renovated the old presidents house. 100% agree with your point about modern architecture. Not a fan the look of the new dorms (or memorial village) have. At all. Also, if they were planning to tear down Walsh and Squires, etc. I really wish they would have located the new dorms there instead of adding on to the Wilki complex. Locating students, especially freshman, as close as possible to central campus should be a no brainer. That extra walking distance makes a big difference when it's negative 20 windchill in the winter. Walks I took from Brannon took forever even on a good day. Whole I'm ranting, I've got to add that the med school location is questionable given that it could have built on University directly to the west of the new dorms. That said, I think overall th e school has done a great job and the former presidents did a great job in positioning the university for the future. I think they did a great job with the designs of the new business school and memorial union, as well.
  20. I know it started prior to this, but I kinda feel like cutting FB was a major factor in SCSU's downfall. Not a good look to potential students who are choosing between SCSU, Mankato, Bemidji, Duluth, Winona, etc. Especially when SCSU and St. Cloud don't have very many redeaming qualities when comparing them to other public schools in MN. Football and sports aren't a reason that should be used to select a school, but it's certainly a valid reason to cross a school off the list if there are other alternatives that offer the same or better education. Off topic but it's a shame SCSU wasn't built a little further North, in the lakes area around Alexandria (who wouldnt want to go to college in a town that has a Zorbaz). Could have been an awesome college town and would have been the perfect location for a true "state" flagship university, had MN chosen to go that route, way back when.
  21. I'm talking the shell of the arena only, not the pool area or any other attached space. I thought that was clear. There isn't much of anything in there...
  22. I agree and think they should have kept the venue portion. How much would it cost in todays dollars to build the shell of that building and the cement seating? Had they decided to keep it, money that will soon need to be spent on building additional practice courts at the betty could have instead have been spent on a renovation (and an addition at the Betty wouldn't be needed. A smaller version of something like this would have been perfect, long term.
  23. My god. One of the worst design decision I've ever seen (imo)... I used to study there because it had a bit of that classic old money university feel to it. Legitimately pisses me off that the design, furniture, and vibe are the same as the rest of the library (cheap/modern/basic). Harry Potter is a great example, as you mentioned.. A library like that is something that I would expect to see at any old big time school. Would have loved to see the glass replaced with open balconies as well.
  24. Hopefully they improve their stream before next year. Thanks for link. Would love to see Arizona move up with the new barn they are building, the ASU rivalry, and the ability to play at at the Tucson Convention center for bigger games.
