Perhaps Hugo's doesn't get resupplied often enough so the produce goes bad? I've noticed it with their avocados... they are either black or bright green it seems like.
Grand Forks has enough chains! How about more restaurants like Darcy's, parrots cay, blue moose, and red pepper! We need more local owner-operator joints.
Making fun of NCAA hockey for having small schools that are competitive is ridiculous. LOL NCAA basketball gonzaga, Wichita, Marquette, Creighton, providence, valpo, Seton hall, and the rest of a10 and the big east.

Go tell your grandparents they are just lazy takers. Tell that to the WW II vets while your at it. How about the UND students pay their actual costs of their educations instead of asking these takers to help pay for it.
my post # 44:
What was the cost of education when they went to school? How much debt are students stuck with? Pretty sure the average is around 40 grand.... that isn't free money. Also, who do you think is paying for their social security? Young people are, and they aren't going to get squat when they retire. WWII vets are only a fraction of retirees... please.

Ok.... not seeing anything about this: "That most retirees would have gone to college in the 40's-60's."
Is your point that that they could get decent jobs without even having to go to college? I'm not even sure what your argument is anymore - it's like talking to a damn wall with you.
