You would cut baseball after turfing the infield, because it is a sunk cost. There isn't enough money to go around to make UND baseball competitive - they can't even properly fund basketball. As far as I'm concerned, turfing the infield was a huge waste of money! Why would they not do the whole field? He doesn't report anything that can't be found in a UND press release. He doesn't need resources that the Herald can give him... he needs to develop relationships with people that matter. Sioux Football Insider dominates him in quality of content, and they do it for free.

I don't buy the TV viewership numbers some of you are claiming... The last numbers I saw showed that UND drew pretty well in comparison to big name schools.

Given this thory, why would you be opposed to the NCHC taking a big name school in asu? The pac hockey conference isn't going to pop up over night. We will enjoy the benefits for 10 + years...
