Im not shocked at the seed, we could have done more during the season. Kinda sucks we ended up where we did, but it is what it is. We are in the tourney. We did schedule Iowa, Iowa State, and the U this year. There is truth that we need to start beating these teams to get better seeds. I know for a fact how big SDSU treated their women teams like a big team that year. It was huge across South Dakota and SW Minnesota. We need to schedule SDSU next year. no question about it. It has to happen.

I saw that but immediately dismissed the bracket when they put undefeated UCONN as a 3 seed. I believe we will be a 14 with an outside shot at being a 13. I wonder how high we might have gotten had we finished games @ UNI, @ Minnesota, @ Montana, and @ Sac State. We might have been in that 12-13 range for sure.

Looks like that same site now has UND as a 14 and playing Nebraska ESPN still has us a 14 playing West Virginia in Iowa City.

I can see why they wouldn't do it because of the injuries. But there is a few things that are positive -Gives Hooker, Calcaterra, Salmonson, Stefan and Antwi another game where they will get good minutes. Potentially we may see Benton get a few minutes too. We will get a good look at next years team -What hurts playing another game? If any of the 5 play well in this game(s), it can give them confidence going into the offseason -Huff will for sure pass 2000 points for his career -Gives the seniors, who are left, a few more games in their careers. To me the positives outweighs the negatives I will still watch the game and if they win that is great.

SMU got the shaft, they should have been in. NC State shouldn't have gotten a bid. Wichita State got shafted big time, they have to run through Kentucky, Louisville, Duke, Michigan, Saint Louis just to get to the final 4. Bison have a good shot of knocking off Oklahoma.
