It probably would happen, unless there is any other craziness that happens in the other conferences. As for tonight, I take UND by 8 over Sac NAU tips UNC MONT over PSU despite all the craziness of this year, I think the top 4 seeds will hold

MN High School Boys Basketball Tourney
SWSiouxMN replied to SWSiouxMN's topic in Non-collegiate sports
Im hoping that Canby makes a run this year in Class A. The team has dedicated this year to the head coaches son, who was an assistant coach at my high school when I played, who died of cancer last summer. tough loss for EGF, if they had gotten by Esko last night I think they would be playing for the title (they would have run by Fairmont) -
My take on the quarters Eastern Washington over ISU Montana over Montana State SUU over Sacramento State I have a tough time thinking that there will be any upsets and the one to look at would be Montana/MSU

Thus the way of the random seeding. I wish they did it 1-8 in all classes, but I suppose it would be a bit tougher to do in the small schools. The random draw also gave us conference matchups in 2A (New London-Spicer and Annandale (Wright County), Fairmont and St. Peter (South Central)) -

To be fair, half the band was in Bemidji for the women's game. But everything else, as a student, I agree 1000%. I was going to make my points, but its spelled out perfectly in this

What frustrates me right now... is that if this team had ANY consistency right now, we would have won the darn conference and be hosting. If UND plays 3 good conference games in a row however next week (and I could say any of the big sky teams), they will win the tournament. Tell me 1 team that has any confidence going into this.

Schedule is Thursday-Saturday, times TBD ISU and MSU clinched spots tonight as well, so the teams are set but seeds are still up for grabs 1) UND BYE 4) EWU 5) SAC/ISU 3) SUU/MONT 6) SAC/ISU/MSU 2) SUU/MONT 7) ISU/MSU

UND and SUU split head to head UND and SUU split against Montana UND beat EWU twice compare to 1-1 for SUU SUU swept SAC while UND went 1-1 EWU swept SAC Sac lost to Montana, they needed to win 2 and EWU lose twice to jump them in standings. Therefore SAC can only tie EWU in the standings and EWU has that tiebreak Should ISU, EWU, and SAC tie at 11-9, EWU would win tiebreak due to head-to-head-to-head (EWU has a 3-1 record vs ISU/SAC) Therefore... homecourt in postseason

Looks like we are going to have some postseason bball at the Betty!
