Saying new nickname over and over gets old. I decided on a different word.

A couple of posters on this board got me thinking that while we do see some trends on nicknames, the issue is that we have multiple options. So a person could pick more than one name. Not this one, since we are going to enter presidential primary season soon, might as well treat it like one. Notice that there are two questions to this poll, I left North Dakota off one to see if that option was not available, where people would put their support. It will also help to see how much the numbers really do change if no name is left off the board. No votes will be made public and is up to the discretion of the poster to make theirs public. For those who have multiple favorites, its time to rally behind one. If any errors show up, let me know and I will correct.

the timing is interesting since I got this email yesterday: Recently, a group of UND faculty conducted an opinion survey intended to measure perceptions regarding the President, the Provost, and the Deans. Three of the four faculty members who developed and initiated the survey—Jim Whitehead, Tom Petros, Kim Kenville and Jim Higgins—shared the results of the survey with me in a meeting last Friday and indicated they plan to make the results publicly available soon. We wanted everyone to be aware of this. We will closely review the survey results and will thoughtfully consider how best to move forward. We also want to fully involve the entire campus community, and, as many of our faculty and students are away, this will be a priority item as the new academic year begins.

I know South Dakota still uses quarters, I think it was my 8th grade or freshman year or high school when Minnesota switched over to halves. It was always interesting when we traveled across the border into SD to take on the Sioux Falls schools in bball. Bringing the home unis on the road was fun as well

Mens big changes include a 30 second shot clock, increasing restriction zone to 4 feet, returning to perimeter d emphasis from 2 years prior and using timeouts called within 30 seconds of the media as the media. Women have a few noteworthy changes. Will go to 4 10 minute quarters and can inbound the ball at halfcourt off of timeouts at the last minute of 4th quarter and overtimes. Good or bad changes to the respective games.

Looks like Santana will be send down to Triple-A and Vargas is back up. Now get rid of Stauffer and promote Meyer to take his place in the bullpen (Meyer had pitched better since he was send to the pen in Rochester).

So outside of Hooker and assuming Brick starts at the 4, who do you think will fill the other 3 spots in the starters role? Does anyone think all 4 freshman will play this coming season?
