We used to struggle in Cali. Both teams aren't very good. The question is.... Who is worse?

Now that I think of it there was a Bellmore type player that came out of GF last year. He's doing track at UM though...

Players like Bellmore don't come out of ND very often. I would bet that there are a lot of Hendrickson types (a little short but athletic and tough and possessing great instincts) in this area that just need to be developed. I doubt anyone was jumping for joy when he committed but after a couple years they couldn't keep him off the field because he kept making plays and forced their hand. There are always Goertz type players coming out of Wisconsin and Edwards could be better than Boyle or Benjamin ever were if he can get their mental edge for understanding the game. I'm sure we miss on a player or two because of going elsewhere but we've seemed to have made up for it with players like Kuksa (hope he'll be ok) and Reyes and Norberg. It's not like we haven't hit on players from ND though. Iverson is a stud and Barton and Carr have started down the stretch.

Look at who was at LB in those games where we competed. Now look at LB. Same for DE. Also DT. Brock Bellmore was a brick wall against the run, he was super quick and was stronger than anyone he played against. Hendrickson Daniels Goertz were all good against the run and were bigger and more athletic than who we have this year. Benjamin was a beast and was smart so was Boyle. Throw in Hawkins and Belotti at safety who were good sized and could tackle and you've got what was a really good run defense. Their problem was they had the same corners we have this year.

Its time for a disciplinarian coach with a defensive background and Midwestern recruiting pipelines that is an alpha dog again. Someone who's not afraid to trim ALL of the fat and nips things before they become a cancer. We don't need more of the same. I don't share all I've heard but I can't defend Mussman as a leader for this program any more, I just can't. The program deserves better.

They despised gemaldi tonight. He was our most physical by far.

We scored but that was the worst 2 on 0 I've ever seen. I have no idea how Parks scored on that, it almost looked like an accident.

Easily the least physical UND team I've ever seen. I've yet to see Sioux hockey this season.

That is a fact.

That list is a joke NDSU is ranked 70th behind K State and other teams they would beat. Northern Colorado is not worse than Grambling or Savanah St.

After today it's hard not to look forward to what Golladay will become. He's only a true soph this season and has at times looked like a man amongst boys. He's going to be an all American candidate next year and will be thee guy. We need to make sure and not take him for granted, he's a special player.

The funnier part is that he wears a c. The even funnier part is the announcers saying they wouldn't expect something like that from him.

I was also pleased that Bartels didn't make any terrible throws. His picks were all in the wr. He was in complete control today. But we still ran for only 4 freaking yards

I'll be there no matter who the coach is or what the record is. That doesn't mean we don't need a much better product out there. I don't want to lose a generation of young people who could become die hard fans and boosters.
