  1. You can be considered a booster without ever donating a dime.
  2. I'm not sure you understand what the NCAA considers a booster.
  3. It's kinda funny. Going into the SDSU game I was all jacked up and nervous. Going into Montana I was just nervous. Now I'm looking for an excuse to be either. I'm going to watch the whole game tomorrow and cheer for UND just hoping that I won't be shaking my head as much as last week. I can only afford so many face palms before hair starts getting pulled out.
  4. Will PSU have more trick plays or will UND have more turnovers?
  5. Nothing would make me more happy than UND moving Kleason back to guard and placing Barton at tackle and pounding the rock. Shaugs and Sparks, Sparks and Shaugs. PA pass for a td. Over and over and over again until the other team gives up. Sounds familiar. It's what we used to do and it's what NDSU is doing now.
  6. A great example of these rules is that if a player graduates and comes back to town with a little money from his new job he can't take any former teammates out to dinner or even buy them a drink unless he had done so as a student athlete. Even if they were roommates or best buds.
  7. You'd have better luck going to Gene Taylor since he'll actually respond and it could affect him
  8. Looks like a nice atmosphere. I wonder how long before they are a legit tourney team.
  9. That sucks. He's a good player.
  10. Rb from south sounds like he's legit
  11. I remember sitting front row against Wisconsin and having my jaw drop at how damn good he was. Moving the puck in the power play and just his hands in general were amazing.
  12. I miss watching Toews at UND. He was so much better than everyone else without doing anything flashy. I hope one of these next classes can get a player that can be head and shoulders above everyone even at a young age.
  13. I never missed a post practice conditioning session as a fr or any year for that matter. It's where you win in the 4th quarter.
  14. Any freshman worth his salt should partake in the conditioning at the end of practice with the rest of the team. It's another opportunity to get better. Those that did were and probably still are ahead of the game.
  15. Define plays.
  16. He does a good job of giving a !@#$ about the little things.
  17. I did ask him about their game against Montana being moved and being aired on ESPN and he said they were in preliminary talks and that it still needs NCAA approval.
  18. The important part is that I'm clearly more important to Mr. Taylor than Johnboy. Must be all the big checks I write to NDSU.
  19. Email received. 15 min flat. pretty impressive considering it's nearing lunch time.
  20. Over/under 7 total turnovers in this game. It'll be like an early Christmas.
  21. The email has been sent, he's on the clock.
  22. I'll put that to the test. I'll let you know how it goes.
  23. If only you knew how wrong you are...... I can only shake my head. Care to know what the schedule is like for a redshirt? It's hell. 6am fr weights mon tues thurs sun with a bonus hell workout fri morning. These are 2 hour grueling workouts where the SC coaches push them to their limits and break them down in necessary. Then they have class. If you're in engineering or something requiring alot of tough classes this is alot to keep up with. Position meetings. Yup, more class. Practice. They're already sore and tired from lifting at 6am and now they have to go against the 1's ans 2's while trying to give them the best look possible. Study table. 6 hrs a week spent in the study center. Also they have to eat, sleep, shower, meet new friends, and become apart of the program. Also alot of these kids are getting homesick like most college kids do which is made worse by the fact that they are not able to compete in a game for basically the first time in their young football lives. Still think it's the easiest year? I can tell you it's not even close.
  24. They don't pull scholarships at UND. If you keep f-ing up though they will decrease your scholarship or cut you from the team. That seems pretty standard though.
  25. Faisons track record shows that he will go out and find a good coach and pay them well if they deserve it. There's no way he's so incompetent that he would promote anyone on the current staff. The only candidate would be Kotelnicki who would not be ready in my opinion. He's still getting settled as a DC and is showing promise but that's totally different from being ready to be a HC.
