Success trickles down in the athletic department. Everyone loves a winner. Hockey had a special place in the hearts of GF natives but everyone also like football. Give them a team worth supporting and they will. I look at this title for the hockey team as pumping positive momentum into the entire school. It's good for everyone.

Hats off to Cam Johnson. He was supposed to just be a backup to McIntyre and then Tomek. Well look at him now. He was solid as a rock this entire tournament. Without him we end up with the same old same old, maybe next year. We finally had the hot goalie and it felt damn good. Im already excited as hell for next year and hope enough guys stay so we can get another one. Great season, the curse is over. I guess we chose the right nickname.

I'm oddly calm at the moment. That is sure to change. My wife is in a wedding tonight so I'll be posted up at the bar of the reception venue.

Watched this last night. Man was that a good game. Haven't watched it since it was played. Kinda forgot how good we were, Karl especially. I also miss the hitting we used to do but the game has changed. My biggest take away from watching this was how fast and hard we always played. Tonight we need that type of fire and attack aditude.

I've been missing bone crushing hits on KO coverage. Dano was the best at it in a long time.

The end of the second and the beginning of the third was the worst hockey I've seen from this team this season. Worse than against Wisconsin. It was putrid. On our heels, desperately bombing pucks down the rink for icing after icing, gliding to the puck. It really was terrible to watch because we had just been pounding them for most of the second period. We can't afford to do that on Saturday or the streak will extend.

Does Berry go with the senior to replace LJ? Tough call and a huge loss. I loved that line.

Nice to see this place turn in to bisonville with a little adversary. Hate to have seen it if we had been down.

I'm glad my wife is a nurse because my heart rate has been elevated since I woke up this morning. No caffeine needed today.
