    My mom had a lengthy encounter with a football player today. She was running the reading bus and had a surprise volunteer. Well let's just say Tim Dulin left quite the impression. She sang his praises to me and I can say that the Tim Dulin fan club is at least one strong as of today. His humility, work ethic, politeness, and, most of all, his enthusiasm for reading to kids completely blew her away. Hats off to Tim Dulin, and I hope this season is as successful as his first impression was with my mom.

    The first one is infinitely better but neither would fly. Again, head dress on a bird. I think it looks dumb and the admin wouldn't allow it for being native imagery. Also it doesn't make sense.

    The sioux logo would have looked horrible on a helmet. Can't put a huge logo on the chest like hockey either. There were sioux logos on all sorts of things like workout gear and workout sheets and playbooks etc. The sioux logo just didn't lend itself well to being on a football uniform.

    I'm far from anti hockey, I'm a huge hockey fan, but im not shy about my disappointment with how the hockey program has handled the entire nickname situation.

    You're brutally simple hawk logo was one of my favorite mock ups.

    No bird had feathers that come from one spot at different angles like that. It's clearly a head dress. Feather are on birds but that is a bird with at the very least some type of feather ear ring.

    And guess what, he's doing a damn good job so far.

    His being from Illinois gives him an advantage in this situation. His view of this logo isn't tainted like us locals. But let me make one thing clear, this logo could be a lot better. It could also be as bad as people think it is, which it isn't.

    The hockey team will clearly continue to hang out in their bunker by themselves. I'll still cheer for them as always but they should join the community some time.

    You apparently don't know how things work on teams. If the coach says to cool it on social media with the new logo then you do that or there will be consequences. No ifs ands or buts. Bubba's guys know what he expects of them on Twitter and all other forms of media. Bubba's the man.

    This new logo would make a nice secondary logo in the future. We can do better but could have done much much worse. Like a lot worse.

    This is basically how I feel as well. Shut up and play. There are thousands who would love to wear that ugly logo and represent UND so don't act entitled.
