    Stecher is probably my all time favorite d man for UND. It amazes me that at his size he was able to do all the all the things that he did. He is amazing. I hope he tears it up and has a nice NHL career. It was time for him to go.

    Greg Hardin. Perfect example. Came in running a slow 4.5 and was blazing 4.3s as a senior.

    I don't want him to go but would Stecher really improve on much if he stayed another year? I really want him to stay since he's one of my all time favorites but I understand that it's kinda time for him to step on up to the next level.

    And the way they won that year was spectacular. Kinda bitter about the gf boys they had though....

    No I don't recall that team playing tight. They were also about as stacked as a team can be.

    One thing I noticed with Berry vs Hak is that Berrys teams weren't as tight.

    I'll blame the goalies. And the slow footed defense that BC would blow past. And the refs for not letting us physically beat the piss out of east coast teams. Oh, and Hak. Fire Hak.

    Success trickles down in the athletic department. Everyone loves a winner. Hockey had a special place in the hearts of GF natives but everyone also like football. Give them a team worth supporting and they will. I look at this title for the hockey team as pumping positive momentum into the entire school. It's good for everyone.
